  1. didn't exactly get anything, but I did finally find something I thought I had lost.. i've been hoarding the revell Integra Type R "Type R" wheels...I originally had 1 set, and I lost one of those, so I managed to find 2 other complete sets from a friend and a swap meet. last night I going thru my boxes (getting my stash of wheels in one place) and I found the 4th one! so now I have 3 sets! (they look good on pro-touring projects with a lip added to them)
  2. Actually I have a question to ask on this topic...I've got a ton of topics and posts that are a few years old that can't be found....are they gone totally? I usually like to go back and see what I posted so I don't double post anything...
  3. jlrahmo@aol.com just be patient on waiting for the response, usually within a day or so
  4. i've been thinking of picking one of these up for a pro-tour build..thanks for giving us the opportunity to follow along on another of your usual fantastic builds...I'll be checking back in.. Thanks Gray
  5. very cool..I saw pics of the real deal a few years ago...you captured the look well...one of my favorite old concept cars.. Gray
  6. great, now I have to add this kit to my grail list (which a kit gets added and about a week or 2 later it's in my hands..lol) Great work dude..I like it...of course i'm partial to jdm cars, esp. 80's ones.. Gray
  7. From what i've read on the Gin San is that you can apply it over white and it gives a very light finish chrome, apply it over gray its medium chrome-ish and over black gives it the dark chrome look. I've got a jar of it too and so far i've only used it over some semi gloss black on a Nismo Z muffler..I love it...I plan to use it a lot more.. Gray
  8. looks great so far man, i've got one of these to eventually do a k20 in.....i'll keep checking in Gray
  9. the premiere issue of Model Cars Magazine... amt Alaskan Hauler, um.. lots of issues of car modeller, old issues of scale auto...cool old hotwheels...
  10. Thanks guys...I think the box being messed up and the motor being started/painted kinda made people look past it..I don't care....paint can be stripped and only the base motor was built....I got it for a good deal I think. next up is an International c4070.. Gray
  11. oh yeah!! this was waiting for me when I got home from work...the box is a mess, lots of loose parts too, but its alllll there and i'm happy.....this will be put into build rotation soon
  12. testors flat light aircraft grey ( i think) is close too...plus it can be bought anywhere (this is the base testors stuff you get at micheals/ac moore)

  14. hmm...i'm guessing i'd need the "o" scale rivets? that's gotta be the most novel idea for producing rivets that I've ever seen! I need em too...I'm getting ready to sand away the rivet detail on my Freightliner at the cab joint... Gray
  15. engine painted...totally the wrong color but still...i'm happy with it. I've got some ancillaries to add tonight or tomorrow night and it will be done... next up cab body work to finish...
  16. Great job dude! I used to own a 240sx hatch with silvia front end.... I have loved the s13's for long time and I will love them for quite a lot longer Gray
  17. I think the A/H would be lucrative considering how popular Ice Road Truckers is, and the fact that this show has made the price jump on the old A/H's but yeah I think the Kenworth tools were lost long ago to the t600 oh and my list Kenworth W925 Kenworth K100 Peterbilt 352 Peterbilt Turnpiker Chevrolet Bison/GMC General International Transtar II Mack Cruiseliner shoot, i'll take anything not recently released at this point
  18. according to my newsletter, the Midlands Chapter meets on August 1st at 7:00 at the Red Bank Community Center, 246 Community Dr., Lexington, SC
  19. not necessarily today, but this is my haul over the last 2 weeks. Now keep in mind though, the kenworth k123, the built transtar 2, half of the autocar(lol), and the photoetch set I paid for. Everything else you see (plus one ford c cab tractor from amt) came from trading...just goes to show what you can accomplish with some proper dealings..lol. in a few weeks expect to see a lonestar and one of the day cab resin conversions and some other goodies...yay Gray
  20. wow!that's crazy...Jag hasn't always been this big..he got the ole snippy snippy and that's when he packed on the pounds, that and eating kitten food when we were fostering a kitten...this dude is a chow hound now..i think he begs almost as bad as the dog..
