  1. True dat. Now, if it was just a little closer to Arizona! {I keep waiting for Tri-State to offer scholarships! }
  2. Also, Gotta Spend Lots! It is expensive.
  3. That's really sweet!
  4. True what Art and Dave say, but still . . . a LOT of money flies at GSL. People from 27 states and a handful of foreign countries, all the mags, and bunches of online photo albums. Still, the vendor expo shrinks every time. Definitely not the hay-days of olde when ALL the aftermarket heavy-hitters were in attendance with truckloads of goods.
  5. Ehhh, I don't think I'll ever go back to soap. I'm more into a different kind of suds these days. Besides, I've graduated to carving balsa wood.
  6. Congratulations, Joe! Very happy for you!!
  7. Not unlike putting NACA scoops on a Yugo!
  8. Nice. We still need a 2006 - 2013 Impala . . .
  9. 'Nother 'Amen' for Brother Bill. Not only that, but those unmotivated lower tier workers want and expect all the trappings of being high-end, high-skilled (read that, 'highly paid') producers . . . ie, flashy cars, expensive 'luxury' condos, constant partying . . . so they go get the food stamps and subsidized housing and free government provided cell phones and service, and public socialized healthcare the rest of us pay for.

  11. Whatever happened to carving parts out of soap bars? Wow, Chris. So impressive!
  12. Is he from Australia? Very good drawing. Fair avatar.
  13. Amen. And, they expect to be paid handsomely while they Instagram and Facebook and Twitter and text and so forth and so on . . .
  14. Around here, the majority of taxis were police cars first, used up and auctioned off. Then, their second career uses up whatever was left. I can't imagine buying any surplus Crown Vic taxi . . . it would probably have 1/2 a million miles on its ticker!
  15. Excellent!
  16. That's yet another point, Brett. Is there really a good market for the same-old, same-old? Some of the proposed Foose kits are designs so similar to the Testors series, it makes you wonder how big their market would be. However, the fresh stuff such as the '35 Chevy and the Eldorodo or the '65 Chevy don't look just like kits that have been on the market before.
