  1. You flatter yourself. (If I wanted to ignore you, I would.) Although you sometimes try, you're just not obnoxious enough to ignore. There are, however, a couple of yahoos around here . . .
  2. Here's a great alternative to all of those folks who are annoyed by the ads: Send Gregg a (good) check for a hundred bucks. After all the annoyed people do that, he can probably remove the revenue-producing ads. Me? The ads don't bother me. I just ignore them like I ignore certain people.

  7. Awesome!!! Great job, Steve.
  8. But also a lot of poor choices and a lot of much better choices overlooked. Thus, a yahoo list. IMHCPO.

Quite good build, young man! Keep it up. And, as Mike said, don't be bashful about joining a local club ~ you'll have a great time and learn a lot!
  10. Beautiful!
  11. Nice.
  12. All you need to know about this stupid list is: Yahoo. Well named.
  13. Welcome aboard, Alexzander! Are you a Buff? Interesting handle. What's the backstory on that?
  14. He does not support either local club, either of the Good Guys Model Car Contests, or the Desert Scale Classic. I do not support him.
  15. NE Corner of Scottsdale Road and Thomas Road. They are very supportive of the local clubs, Desert Scale Classic, and they host a monthly build session. Their pricing is below the HTU normal. The "other one" is in Gilbert.
  16. There are two HobbyTown USA stores in the Valley. One is over-priced on everything, but the newer one tries to be (and succeeds at being) more reasonable in pricing. I suggest locals shop at the Scottsdale HTU. There are four other hobby shops in the Valley, not counting the crafty stores (JoAnn's, Michael's, and HobbyLobby). They all carry full lines of car/truck plastic kits, paints, and supplies, but they, too, are all religiously at MSRP. There are just no bargains any more. The R/C folks keep most traditional hobby shops open. The days of a plastic-only shop pretty much left on the last stage out of town a long time ago. Besides, Jonathan doesn't buy any kits locally because there aren't any Japanese hobby stores around here.
  17. "Bad Penny" is Jim's road car. This little guy is his run-around-town grocery-getter.
  18. Very nice, Mark.

Nice. Looks so fast it ran out from under all its chrome.
