  1. I’d love to see the rest of this article.... In this picture it does look like they are red lines. I just made them up tonight.
  2. Thank you! I don’t have this one!
  3. That is a gear shift lever from an AMT 53 Corvette. VERY carefully straightened!
  4. Got the interior done today. The mock up is good! Everything fits together really well! Very well engineered!
  5. Looks like it does!??
  6. Another good question! I was looking at that last night. Keeping my fingers crossed!?
  7. That was my thought. It’s not cast on the “block” like his normally are. Could be a bootleg copy!
  8. I’m pretty sure are from Fireball! I found it in a bunch of resin stuff I have. I have few of them.
  9. I have always considered altering the wheelbase of the Rat Packer Nova back to stock configuration. It’s nice to see it done! Great work can’t wait to see the rest!
  10. That’s a good question. I might have to call artistic license again....?
  11. THarrison351 is correct, 1/18
  12. I picked up this diecats Hemi Dart a month ago or so. These are selling on EBay for $200+! When one showed up damaged for less than half that, I jumped on it! It has broken attachment points for the base on the underside (which doesn’t bother me) and the hood trim is missing. It’s been sitting on my deathbed since I got it. I figured I would fabricate the missing trim. Here is a little photo selection from the process.
  13. I don’t have any pictures of the specific motor for this car so a little artistic license is in order. I’m shooting for something like this. Finding headers to fit a big block Chevelle proved a little difficult. The best ones I had in stock had no flange to mate to the heads with. So I have to fabricate something. If anyone knows what kit these were in, please let me know. I’d like to make another set and cast them for future projects. You can see here where I had to notch the cross member on one side and frame on the other. And the motor in place. I put the kit valve covers on temporarily as I have a set of Motion covers in stock. This distributor is one I cast myself. I feed the wires through the mold and then pour the resin. It’s a little difficult, but the result is great and a real time saver! Less eye strain too! ? Thanks for looking! As always, questions and comments welcome!
  14. That is correct. He also sold kits for mini cars, dune buggies and a lot of bolt on fiberglass stuff.
  15. I’m truly amazed! Beautiful subject, beautiful craftsmanship! Can I ask what program you used for 3D artwork?
  16. That really came together nice!?
  17. Here I have the scoop from the 67 Corvette.
  18. What about the scoop from Revell’s 67 Corvette?
  19. After finishing the Buick GSX, I was eager to start on the brand new 1968 Chevelle from Revell. Almost 20 years ago I painted a couple cars that were to replicate a pair of Baldwin Motion cars sold ordered by Roberto Schneider. The Camaro cost $9,300 and the Chevelle was over $7,000! The Chevelle was used by Mr. Schneider to flat tow the Camaro to Texas and eventually into Mexico. I’ve always wanted to build the pair in towing configuration and was well on my way when a couple problems arose with the Chevelle. #1 was the tail lights. They are very inaccurate. #2 was, the stipe I laid down was much narrower on the hood than the rest of the car. This fustration sidelined the project for a long time. After realizing that the new Revell Chevelle will probably be released as a 1969 down the road, I decided to continue to wait on this project. In the meantime, my love for Motion cars steered me towards what I think is the “prototype” Baldwin Motion Phase III Chevelle. One reason I believe it is the prototype is the hood. It’s the only one I have seen with Corvette scoop with no stinger portion on top of the Chevelle SS hood! The “production” fiberglass hoods were the full stinger on a flat Chevelle hood. I spoke with Joel Rosen a couple weeks ago but didn’t ask him about the 68. I have an email in to him to see if my suspicions are correct. In the meantime I started getting stuff together for this project. And here is where I’m at. The stinger scoop is from the 1967 Nickey Camaro, side exhaust is from the 1969 Motion Camaro and the wheels are from EBay. Any questions and comments are welcome!
  20. I look forward to meeting you! I usually sit towards the front by the side door. That’s me in the Queen shirt.
  21. This one was completed due to in joining the “Dring out your dead” thread in the On the Workbench. Thanks to Snake45 for starting this thread and helping me to “Gitter done” Thaks for looking!
  22. Hello! Yes exit is closest. You go to the LIARS model club right?
  23. Buick GSX is done! This kit for its age goes together very easily. I ran into no fit issues. The only thing I had a problem with was mounting the front and rear bumpers. There is no positive mounting points. Other than that, ajust the right height and you have a beautiful model of a beautiful car! I’ll post the rest of my pictures on the under glass section. Thanks for the boost in getting this one done!
  24. The Street Shark issue was one of the first models I built when I was 10 years old. I built it like the box art. It was destroyed over the years and lost. A few years back, I recreated it. The only deviation is the American Mags.
