  11. Those phone calls are quite an annoyance. We get them on our land line. I pick them up, don't say a word, then hang up. But if someone speaks up, I mean a live person then I am rude to them. All I say is "WHAT DO YOU WANT?" Sometimes they speak up so then I'm rude and call them out as scammers from a boiler room in India. Sometimes they just hang up because they don't know what to say because they are probably expecting to hear a "Hello". Ignoring the calls just sends them to the answering machine, at least I cut the ringing short. They're never going to stop so rudeness is all they get. Most of the the time they're just automated, instant hang ups. Live people, instant rudeness.
  12. He sure gave us the best quality model kits. Sorry to see him pass.
  13. I've been using a Badger mixer for years. It's better than a shaker. When the pigments settle at the bottom of the bottle it gets thick. And if you have to add more solvent to the paint the mixer will do a better job although you can make a mess if you're not careful.
  14. That sure is sad. Early Black Sabbath was great.
  15. Hydraulic brakes were on mountain bikes for about 20 years before that started appearing on road bikes, since about the late 90's. I have a 2000 Cannondale SuperV700SX that came with hydraulic brakes. They even used to make hydraulic rim brakes too.

  17. Here's the nose cleaned up from the bleed through.
  18. Here's a little further progress. I just painted the red. Unfortunately the masking is never perfect and some red blew through some spots that I will be touching up after the red is good and dry after a couple of days.
  19. Here's another one: I wonder what "order" it is. I know all my orders and there aren't any right now. I get these a lot. Notice how it has no information on it about anything.
  20. I recently learned that this great classic old rock song "Lola" by the Kinks is actually an LBGTQ song.
  21. I was watching a video about him on YouTube. He sure knew how to get around NASCAR rules. If it didn't say "you can't", he did it. He sure got them to rewrite the rule book many times.
  22. Here's an old prog. rock band I recently discovered, Camel
