  1. Outstanding job on this just the right amount of weathering not over killed to give it a very convincing look especially the Mudflaps nice touch. As a Dump Trucker I’ve seen that many times on my truck and you nailed it. This has to be the best rendition of this mixer as per Box Art. build. Thanks for sharing.
  2. Put it in your tool box you never know when you will need it I always cared lots of extras 😂
  3. Nice updates weather looks good
  4. Today I painted the inside of the headlights with a sharpie then added the lenses also add more minor stuff before it goes to Under Glass.
  5. Nice details but I thought I would tell you before you get the wet stuff on your rear crossmember is in upside down. That groove in it goes on top for King Pin Clarence. Outside that looks good. I’ve built several of these over the years and I know their dirty little secrets they have so if you need help like Bren said lots of it is here just ask.
  6. Ken your welcome. The wheels are really setting it off now
  7. Thanks Brian I appreciate it. These AC Mack’s to me always looked neat with the Phneumatic tires
  8. Well it’s a New Year and thought about what kinda models I will be building in the near future and I came up this idea of re-visiting my old builds that were on here and maybe the ones I started 40 years ago. First up will be this Mack AC. I worked on it tonight and got a lot done. I know why I put this thing away 9 years ago it’s a twisted up mess. I think I have it going my way now. Next it is to add the Head Lights and a few more details and I’m calling it done. Engine is now in the frame. I decided to go with a light gray these were mostly a Black or Dark Grey but I decided on a lighter Grey. Added the tailgate Added the steering wheel and put the front cross piece on with the radiator guard on. That’s it for tonight.
  9. Updates look great bumper looks the business. Paint on the sleeper is very nice thanks for sharing.
  10. Hang in there Steve looking great
  11. Nice choice Charles I’ve used that for years when I use to cast and always had good luck when I casted my 1/87 scale cab masters. Truck is going to look great thanks for sharing.
  12. Yes Alfred Masury had a wonderful idea that day in the Hospital when he Carved the Bulldog. The B models are one of my many favorites of the Mack’s and yes they have that Stubby Bulldog look like the AC where it got it’s name from the British in WWI because of the toughness and it’s stubby hood reminded them of a Bulldog. You either Like Mack’s or don’t like Mack’s I’ve found out among truckers over my life. Me personally they have always been my favorite. I’m very fortunate to get to drive 2 of these in my life one was a 1965 B67 flat back with a QuadPlex and the other was a 1964 B61 flat back with a Triplex. When I first started this build I really didn’t like the way it was going for years. Now since I’ve figured this wheel/tire problems out it will probably be done by the end of the week. Jeff thanks for your support and others keeping me going on this.
  13. Ben thanks for the complement I appreciate it. Don Mills doesn’t make 1/43 wheels I took his 1/48 front wheels and put the AMT split ring on it. The rear wheels are Don’s 1/48 ones for some reason the 1/43 AMT tires barely fit. Glad to hear from you and thanks for stopping by.
  14. Happy New Year Brian. The way it looks your modeling for next will be awesome. It’s good to have Jeff on here for our Snow plow questions who knows I may build a little window Peterbilt in 1/43 scale 😂.
  15. Nice updates Ken the frame turned out very nice the green looks good and with that green and yellow cab it really will look good. The engine details look great that your adding are a nice touch. Thanks for sharing.
  16. Thanks Brian for stopping by. Maybe by the end of the week the trailer be done.
  17. Thanks Jeff for the encouragement. I changed the tires out for more taller ones glad I did like you stated it has that Mack beefy look now. More updates later.
  18. Did a mock to see where this is going and if those front wheels are going to look right.
  19. That cylinder looks perfect Brian. Well done.
  20. Brian I know you got it in ya power through my friend 😂 This build is amazing
