  1. It's been awhile since I've had this one on the bench mainly because the cab always bothered me and I never liked that cab.I wanted to use the MPC DM600-800 cab but I knew it was going take a lot of work and re- working to get it the way I wanted it to look so day I did. Now maybe I will get this thing done. Enjoy the pics

  4. We have paint! Spring??? Maybe I'm wishful thinking but we did get a hard dusting of snow in the ozark foothills yesterday sorry guys, enjoy the pics and I will keep you posted. The Roadway Mack B67 will be my next project after the Mack LMSW Quarry truck
  5. Thanks guys, can't wait to get started on these fine trucks
  6. Today was a great day for painting. I always like to paint in the spring and fall seems summer never works for me.
  7. Brian as always Great Build
  8. Juergen thanks for complements. Drop Dave a line and he can help you with the tires and wheels
  9. Here's a short update. Got the wheels painted and some tires painted this evening.
  10. Very clean build. You did a great job on it.
  11. Looking good I like the drive tires
  12. Yes it is a monster. I think I'm going to use the DM800 frame with the hard bar suspension. Although they never had it back then I don't think but it plays the part. The resin frame keeps bowing on me and I'm not a fan of resin frames. I did get some paint on the cab and hood also. Enjoy the pics
  13. Thanks guys anytime Jim The bed is from the italeri freightliner I got it with some parts about 15 years ago.
  14. Yes they are, the rear tires the "point" goes forward and the fronts were optional. I have mine fronts reversed like a motor grader for better steering and control
  15. I bought this late summer of this year from AITM been working on it a little this winter enjoy the pics
  16. Alexis you or someone will have to build my truck I have no interest in building it the way it is now. I'm the second owner of this truck. I plan on building it when it was bought new. The owner took the spokes off and re-painted it there company colors which it is now. Don't get me wrong I like the colors and paint scheme. If any you guys want to build my truck I will give you colors numbers . The truck is so much like the model it's hard to believe. Glad you guys enjoyed the pics Lee
  17. I don't know I think my REAL 1.1 Autocar A64B looks good with chrome wheels
  18. Beautiful truck! you did a great job, like mike said just in time for winter.
  19. Thanks guys! It's 28 not 33yrs man I'm showing my age
  20. I was cleaning some of my old model trucks today and thought I would post this old International 4200 Transtar I built back in 1989 It has a few missing parts but has held up good for its age. The paint was a new Testors color they just came out with along with some blues, golds and reds I don't think model master was marketed yet that was 28yrs ago. I do remembering taking my time on this one because it cost me so much money. I bought it at the St. Louis model show back when there was no EBay or things of that kind if you were like me you waited every year for the Model show swap meet and hope you find something good. Hope you enjoy the pics
  21. Thanks JT for the kind words I know my brother would appreciate it, He's not much on social media that's why I post his builds. He was kind enough to give me some of these awesome builds that he built when he was a kid.
  22. Your welcome gator. Talented he was and still is have you ever seen his resin conversion kits? The Pete 379, 358 hood and Kenworth 900L can't believe he's almost 60 years old now I've enjoyed many years building model truck across the table from him and sharing his awesome modeling tools. I cherish every time I visit him because we are both getting older.
  23. Thanks guys I'm sure Bill has read your replays. I have a couple more trucks Bill has gave me from his child hood I will post in the future.
  24. This is a truck my brother Bill built back in 1971-72. Thought it would be neat to post for the re- release of the Kenworth 925. He custom built the grain trailer and our grandmother helped him sew the tarp. It's missing some parts but still looks good for its age. Bill was 11yrs old when this truck was built. I always enjoyed watching his magic on these truck and I still do today.
  25. Great Looking Pacemaker I like those rear tires and paint job
