  6. Here’s one I built many years ago it started out as a Ulrich kit I stretched the frame made it a drag axle and added the Boley tanks and other components. Decals are from micro scale
  7. Come on Jim try one with all the after market goodies I think you would like it to bad they don’t make a torsion bar in these little guys then it would be a true W925
  8. Thanks Jim for pointing out the typo It’s a W924 due to the fact its having 55,000lb springs but with that generic suspension it’s hard to tell. Think this will be a shelf queen
  9. Yes it is these were always fun for me to build before my eyes and hands went south now I struggle in this scale but I’m going to give it a shot
  10. This was one of many projects I had planned before I quit 1/87 scale. I’ve built many of the “Pup” rigs there one of my favorites. Here is some pics of the parts count. I will be adding more parts as I go and I’ll get a pic of the decals for the tanks when I find them
  11. Here’s a few of my Autocar U trucks I’ve build some time ago both were hand painted. The Coal truck is a Sheepscot with a Jordan miniatures body. The stake truck is also a Sheepscot with a kit bashed 1/72 bed cut down to 1/87 with a load of pickle barrels for my pickle factory on my layout

  15. Nice progress. What kinda engine is that going to be a 903 Cummins? Vince I have some many doner frames it’s crazy but thanks for the offer. I might start that old Time DC one day soon
  16. Looking good I like the latter frame I’ve built many of these old Athearn Freightliners. I still have the very first one I got it was a Time-DC I got it in 1981-82 I think. Since we can post 1/87 Trucks here guess I will have to rebuild it and post it.
  17. Looks good straight out of the box I also like that red engine when I was a younger my neighbor bought one of these old CF Freightliners it had a 903 cummins in it that he need for his 1975 White Road Boss and it was red I always wondered why it was red instead of beige. I finally found out later why. Your doing a great job
  18. This is a Sylvan Model’s GMC Crakerbox that I Hand Painted and decaled and added some different front spoke wheels. The trailer is a RTR Athearn 40’ exterior post. The pic was taken on my layout
  19. This is a old Lee Town Autocar kit I built back in 1998 and I Custom painted and decaled this old Yatming container about 3 years ago. The pics are on my HO layout
