  1. JT. Thanks for the complement when I got this kit about 2yrs I just knew what color to paint it. These old snappers deserve some love they’re not that bad if you take your time and rework them. Brian. Thanks for the complement I enjoy taking pictures in my backyard it’s a place I’ve always took pictures for years and has served me well. The last 1/32 KW Aerodyne I built was back in 1983 when they first one came out with this truck I think. I built it box stock. Sadly I sold all of my 1/32 scale trucks when I switched to 1/25 scale around 1984-85 I’m enjoying going back to this scale with the parts and knowledge at hand these days
  2. Now that’s looking great like the decals
  3. Thanks Brian I’m so burned out on 1/25. These are great space savers too
  4. Well it was beautiful day today so I prep the cab/hood and cut the bottom of the fenders off so the step box would fit also got some white paint on it this evening right before it started turning cold enjoy the pics
  5. Thanks Dave The colors are testors mystic emerald green with the kit decals
  6. Warren this will be a very nice build can’t wait for you to get started on this one
  7. This will be the first completed truck of mine for a year 2020. Some details add are Herb Deeks rubber tires on the front, custom baby moons to the rear wheels and some AMT tail lights. Enjoy the pics.
  8. I like that trailer with the Thermo King Reefer very nice
  9. Ok she is done. Moving to Under Glass
  10. I’m with Bill these are always fun to build and easy and they seem to always turn out great you will like this kit outside the tires can be tricky
  11. Great start Doc. You know we’re not getting younger I’m only a couple months older than you. It would be nice to see this old truck build I have several models from my childhood and teen years yet glad you did give up on it. I’ll be following
  12. Very nice combo looking forward to this
  13. This is my entry for the BRBO. It’s a AITM Mack RL700LS with a AITM Mercury Sleeper. I have also added some Don Mills 5 hole Alcoa wheels to the front with Herb Deeks rubber tires. The frame is a doner from a Monogram Mack R that will be modified. I’m uncertain about the rear wheels at this time I might go with 5 hole Alcoa or 5 hole Steel. This will have a pre 1973 dash in it casted by AITM. Here’s a parts layout and a small mock up. Enjoy the pics.
  14. Thanks Sam hope I can finish this today
  15. Jim we’ve all been there
  16. You will pull it off I’m sure. Looks like I got the front seat on this one
  17. This was my very first Model Truck post on here and I need to get this one done while the 1/32 scale mood is in high gear. Enjoy the pics
  18. Here’s some more little details I got done tonight. Instead of snapping the Stack/Air Assembly to the back of the cab I keep it separated and touched up a few lights and Black wash the grill. I guess this will be my first complete build in 2020.
  19. Jeff Thanks for getting this together. I think it’s been 2yrs since I done a BRBO and I can sense this one’s going to be a lot of fun a very different atmosphere than the last one that I was in Lee
  20. This build will be interesting and challenging good luck. My brother Bill Drennen sold all his molds to Jamie you can get the 379 1/24 scale hood my brother made from Jamie if he has casted it up. My brother sold these hood conversations back in the early 90s in 1/25 scale and 1/24 scale
  21. Doc I know the miles
