  2. I got it painted and decaled it this evening
  3. Ben the Bison is On the work bench Big Rigs now section I messed up and posted it here for some reason thanks for looking in you can follow it there
  4. I bought this kit off EBay about 2 yrs ago and this kit brings back a lot of memories to me. I think it was Christmas of 1979 Mom and Dad got this kit for me and my brother Bill got me the GMC General the same Christmas I have a pic of them some where that my mom took of them when I finished them. They were my first model trucks. That was 40yrs ago so I thought I would build one for the Anniversary of this first model truck I got. I will be adding some spoke wheels and a tarp and a headache rack to this build. Hope you will follow along.
  5. I finally got this one finished Enjoy the pics
  6. Thanks guys Me too, I’m kinda getting tired of building model kits with almost 300 parts after about 40 years of building these kinda kits I’m really liking this 1/32 scale and 1/43 low parts count kits. I have built a lot of them when I was a kid. I will have more 1/32 trucks on the bench soon. I’m working on the mirror brackets now than this one will be done
  7. Thanks Tesla putting the mirrors on then it will be finished
  8. Today I added the Wheels, Battery Boxes, Stack, Air Cleaner, Air Tank and Tail Lights a few more things and I’m calling it done
  9. Thanks it’s almost like a first gear B Mack but made of plastic very cool to tear apart and re build
  10. Got the resin wheels ready for paint a few more extra parts and I’m going to go walk this dog
  11. Thanks Brian This goes together much Easier than 1/25 scale and there’s no guessing on the windshield and such and trying to fit other parts. Another reason I like this 1/32 scale it’s a space saver and you don’t have much revenue invested in it I’ve just about gave up on 1/25 scale.
  12. Going to call it a day with this dog. Next up I’ll be adding some resin rear wheels from Dave at AITM
  13. Warren Thats looking really nice very East Coast
  14. Got some more done on it this morning. Accented the chrome parts installed the interior, add the Don Mills decals to the side of the hood and some other odds and ends
  15. I’ve been working on this for a little over two years thought I’d try to finish this thing up I’m leaning more towards the 1/32 scale due to the size and Limited space I have The truck is a JMT promotional truck and the frame is a monogram 1/32 scale R Model Mack that I’ve modified and added the tanks to. The interior is zinc chromate green and the gearshift knobs or pale green enjoy the pics
  16. That Diamond Reo will be a clean build
  17. Thanks guys for your kind words and compliments Larry I’m with you there I also love those R Models and B Models
  18. Thanks David that day in his basement he gave me this cool box to put my parts in he was a great guy
  19. I built this back around 1988 the years have took its toll on it. I’ve lost several pieces it stayed in my mom and dad‘s house for many years before I retrieved it my Mom and Dad both smoked very heavy and it has bad nicotine damage to the paint and decals so I’ve decided to rebuild it. A friend of mine called the “Junkman” who came to shows in St. Louis for many years helped get the parts I needed to build it back in 1988. He long has passed away but it was always a treat to visit his house and go down to the basement and stand in all and look at those old model kits and “Junk” so this build I’m dedicating it to him. Thanks for the memories Charlie.
