I just let it change colors everytime I build something new lol. IMO the Tamiya paint stand is one of those hobby tools that keeps giving and giving.

Awesome build! Weathering is absolutely spot on. That freehand Nissan paint job is also marvelous great job. Love the Twinkie shot lol. Makes me wonder what would come first - car rust or Twinkie mold haha

Finally made it through the last stretch to finish this over the weekend. Thanks all for the comments, much appreciated! Posted Under Glass here ]

Finally got this finished over the weekend. Revell did a decent job with this kit but there are definitely some shortcomings. The hood fitment is the most obvious one, but I'm just glad it fits decently. The door panels, particularly the tops of the them were tricky to fit inside the doors. I modified the kit supplied wheels using rudge knock offs from an old AMT 300SL kit. Happy with how the wheels turned out. Body paint is MCW Metallic Mint Green w/Tamiya clear and the interior is Tamiya TS-46 Light Sand. Overall this kit builds into a great looking model and provides a lot of room for more detailing. Besides the wheels, some engine & interior detailing and the modified grille, this one was pretty much OOB. Thanks for looking in! WIP posted here
