  1. Any and all of those old Dodge pickups, please!!
  2. I have a '67 Ford Galaxie convertible rebuilder, and a '69 Galaxie kit, so the '68 Galaxie is on my grail shopping list, too. A bit scarce, and out of my range when I do see one! Another Ford on the grail list is a decent '58. I prefer a kit, but a good ,reasonably priced rebuilder would do.
  3. I like what I see, so far!! Keep up the great work! I always like the Rivieras, too, and the body styles differed greatly through the years. My faves are the '65, '68-'69, '71-'73, and I even like the '95-'99. I didn't know until doing this research that there was a '59 Riviera:
  4. I don't know about the coupe/hatchback difference in the kits, as I don't think I have a Nova of this body style in the stash to check. LOL
  5. MPC had these: Kit # 1-7707 1977: Kit # 1-7807: Kit # 1-0732: The MPC '77 is listed as a hardtop in the directory, and the '78 and '79 are listed as a coupe. The '79 has been re-issued at least 3 times. Here is a '79:
  6. According to this: The AMT kits line up like this: Kit #T438 1975 ProStock(non-stock): Kit #T472 1976: Kit #T489 1977: All appear to be hatchbacks.
  7. My build is still in progress. Here are a few shots of what I have, so far: I still have some work to do on the body, then it's on to the interior.
  8. I had one of these and the sister kit...Pontiac Ventura. Both about the same quality. Both had problems with parts fit, and this was back in the 70's! If I remember right, neither one would sit on all four tires, either.
  9. Very nice result, Gene! The blue color suits this build very well. I'm currently working on a similar project, using a '67 Cougar, with a '68 Shelby fastback top.
  10. Modelers helping modelers!! Great, ain't it??
  11. I have not seen the TV show, but I'm sure this is a faithful replica of the Impala! It looks great, and the weapons look very convincing!! Well done!
  12. This particular page says F70-15 tires: http://www.automobile-catalog.com/auta_details1.php
  13. In my opinion, it amounts to counterfeiting. I wonder if trademarking would slow this kind of activity down? How much trouble would that be? I've never researched anything to do with trademarking something.
  14. A very similar situation has popped up on another forum, whereas the member is having medical problems and needs to hop out of the hobby. He wishes to sell everything in one deal. Even at that, everyone suggests that he keep his model building stuff, in case his health has a turn for the better. I tend to echo the opinions of the other members in this thread. If, at all possible, I'd keep the tools, and my very favorite kits, started or not, and let the paints and adhesives go. They are perishable around my house, and I'd think they would be elsewhere, as well. LOL
  15. What's not to like?? It's a Panther Pink MOPAR!!! Very sharp result, here! I like it very much.!
  16. I would hafta add that Demon kit my list. I owned a tame '71 Demon....with a 318 CI V-8 automatic. Still a decent running car.
  17. Very nice! Really like the screen panels on the hood. The color looks great on this one, too!
  18. Nice build!! It looks good in that color! I drove a 200SX back in '82. A two-tone blue metallic like this one: I had a problem shifting the gears, but it was a fun car that ran well.
  19. Let's see.....MPC '66 Dodge Polara...Jo-Han '65 and '66 Plymouth Fury...Jo-Han '63 thru '67 Chrysler 300...AMT '59 Buick...AMT '66 Buick Skylark.......... I know there are more, as I try to recall the kits from the sixties that I built as a mere lad, but it's late at night, and my teeny brain is in "Shut Down" mode!!
  20. That is one smart looking Pontiac!! I could gaze at it for......a long time!!! Ex-SQUEEZE-it!!!
  21. I didn't make this up! LOL
  22. As close as I could get it. LoL
  23. Brazil. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Landau I think the car in its factory form is a quite nice looking auto. Looks like a blend of Ford and Mercury elements, to me. And I have no problem with the mild custom at the top of this thread. Of course, that's just my opinion as a car nut who grew up with the sixties and seventies cars when they were new, and being customized in backyard garages everywhere!!! LOL
