Looks even better! This one looks like it’s parked on a “rustic “ road.
-
The racing stripes really do make it look sporty.
-
Very nice and the pictures make it look very realistic even though it’s sitting on a deck rail!

? Not #1? Just saying I somehow missed that. I have scoured their up dates and release info ever since they first announced the Buick and don’t recall ever seeing it on the pre-order. But then I don’t think I’ve ever pre-ordered anything, so maybe I’m just not the #1 model shopper??And I know you’re not my uncle!? -

That’s what I’d like to know. The last Atlantis catalog (2021) I saw listed the release date “2022”. I keep looking for it in every email they send but I have yet to see any mention of it. -

I agree with the all new ‘57 Ranchero. Revell could use/modify their current ’57 tool. I would like to see the multi piece ‘57 Ranch Wagon reissued too. -
The headlight placement is very interesting. They are still mostly hidden and you maintain the aerodynamics at night. Kinda wonder how restricted the air is to the engine compartment, however. Maybe a single headlamp system would allow more air flow, though it could have a negative affect on the aesthetics?? Great build for sure!? Come to think about it, the lights are hidden in that spot pretty much anyway if they were stock. sorry about the sloppy post. I didn’t mean to quote Snake and then 2 edits! ??

Looks great! Only missing a tommy gun wielding gangster on the running board!

More like what I DIDN’T get. Finally got to my favorite LHS (over 2hrs away). I was friendly greeted by the man behind the counter and asked if I was looking for anything in particular. “Yes,” I said, “Model Car Magazine”. “I think we’re all out” was the reply, and he directed to their magazine section. He was right, no MCM! ? I did manage to pick up some primerand a cheap balsa glider suggested by my son as a fun project and a introduction to modeling to share with my 3 yr old granddaughter. She really enjoyed painting and flying it!It was worth the trip!

I would have to agree with you for the most part however Atlantis must think there’s enough interest to consider the reissue of the Buick (unless they just like teasing us old fogies!) -

?Am I the only one? The stock kits were selling for some strong money a few years ago. And the custom kits were and I believe still are dirt cheap. (I don’t know what the current market is) I would have to assume that presence of or lack stock parts is a lot of the reason. There seems to be some interest in the pending reissue of the stock ‘56 Buick. I would think a stock Chrysler would generate the same interest. I will say the whole series would be exciting in 1:25 scale! -
Very cool ride

Looks very good in that color!

The custom version of the Chrysler lacks only the stock grille and wheels. You would think that with all the custom kits out there a resin caster would be offering these stock parts individually or perhaps as a “conversion kit”. If Atantis has all the tooling (stock and custom) they could come up with a two in one kit (with glass!) -

Aurora also made multi piece bodies. This is their Cunningham. I believe they did several foreign sports car kits.
