That's great work! Some more pics would be nice. Show that interior some love, I'm sure you spent a ton of time on it!

testors paint question
JerseyRed replied to Jim in Falls's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I did a google search without the hashtag and came up with several places to get it. $1.79· oakridgehobbies.c... $1.69· Tower Hobbies $1.46· eBay -
Thanks Jordan! To Foose or not to Foose, that was the question. I had a hard time deciding how I would build this one as I'm not sure how much I really like his designs. But I had been talking about him with my auto body friends for quite sometime and went ahead and built it his way. I had fun building it, and I think it came out ok for a first ever model, but when I finished it my first thought was that I would build another in the stock version. I'd still like to at some point. I like working on the 1/12 scale, but now I have I have a long list I want to do before I come back to this one.

Very nice! The striping looks good. Did you do that freehand? I'd also love to see some of that interior.

Very nice carrier and cargo! What type and color paint did you use? -
This is the one that got me started. The 1/12 Foose 1969 Camaro Z-28. I picked it up at Hobby Lobby just to have something to do when I hurt my back and couldn't do anything this past spring. I had some auto body experience when I was younger but never thought about modeling before. As I went along I really got into it. I've done a few since and have four that I currently have at various stages. I think I might've found a cool hobby (or maybe a budding obsession).

I keep coming back to look at this one. I missed the matching woodwork on the cab floor and the truck bed when I first checked it out. All the wiring and hoses looks fantastic. Really is a super nice job. -
That's a Fin looking model! Get it? 'Cuz of the fins. Ok I'll pipe down now.

Looks great. Thank you for your service!

Nice engine detail, nice chrome, nice interior detail. Definitely diorama! If I ever get a few models under my belt that I'm happy with I'd like to try my hand at one.

Hey Jody! Hang in there brother this is a fun place to keep your mind occupied!

Ford had two stage paint in 1970? That seems early to me. Sharp looking build inside and out.

Seriously nice brush job! Must have taken a lot of time and patience.

The green looked good but you didn't lose anything with the blue and silver. Beautiful job!

Peterbilt 359 My First Big Rig

It was mostly a snap kit. Most of it is molded together without many pieces, so like I said there wasn't much to do. I did glue a few spots where parts didn't line up and couple that I didn't want falling off when handling. This is probably a good model for a true beginner, but I was looking to learn something about building real truck models. I'd rather have to struggle with it than not be challenged at all. -

I like this, I've come back to look at it a couple times. Did you replace the glass or clean up what was there? Chrome looks really good too!

Nice touches on the engine and interior. Is that a factory pattern on the seats?
