Absolutely agree!!!! That's is truly one of the BEST jobs I've seen done on one of these conversions!!!! (and I can attest to how CRUMMY some of the resin castings are.... bought one at one of the model shows, when I got to examining it once I was home, I ended up giving it away....) DJ

Now please let me start by saying that KERRY's method (mentioned above) is BY FAR the more "correct way" to keep it straight while drying, but...… One of the guys that used to belong to our local hobby club used to heat the warped frame rails over the stove top, cool with water, glue together, then placed a brick on top to keep it straight while drying...... I can't be the one to criticize him..... his old stuff always seemed to have a straight frame!!!! DJ

100% with what Jeff said..... judging from the size of the dump-bed in the picture, looks like the one from the Louisville kit would be closest.... and yes, those that Dave casts are really nice units.... If you do decide to use one from the Paystar 5000 (and don't have one) holler at me. DJ

Have to agree...… These "snap" kits have all kinds of potential, are only as complex as YOU choose to make them, and, if you dig around thru the MANY builds in the "Under Glass" section, you'll see what some of the forum's great builders have done with these!!!! (Not to mention, if you have a Hobby Lobby close by, you can save 40%!!!!!) DJ
