  1. Now that is a cool save!!!! Can't wait to see where it ends up!! DJ
  2. ANDY, There is a thread in the next section (ON THE WORKBENCH) where they are talking about TRAILER RIVETS that may answer what questions you have …… Hope that helps.... DJ
  3. You are more than welcome my friend...……. And they do look good on both trucks!!!! DJ
  4. Been sick the past several days, so just now getting back to the forum...… What a pleasant surprise!!!!! A special T-H-A-N-K-S- to the different ones that helped make this become an easily found tool (like Brian, Jeff, Kerry, Mike, & the moderator that pinned it). And it goes without saying, a VERY SPECIAL T-H-A-N-K----Y-O-U needs to go out to Hakan (FORCE) for all the initial efforts (and follow up efforts) that even made this possible. And, not to forget SAM for remembering to have the engine colors listed added too. VERY VALUABLE TOOL!!! DJ
  5. For those of you who have "lost" the list of "which engines come in which kits" that FORCE had restructured into a "usable" format, it can be found on the 13th page of this category, have tried to just add a comment to it and bring it back into the active topics, but...…. DJ
  6. Great job on the "oldie" Mack!!! DJ
  7. Said perfectly!!! Glad you've had the chance to do that for your dad...... DJ
  8. Was not suggesting that this be "dumped off on you", only that the information and "format" you used to help put, into a usable order, the engine information might be used to help categorize some of the other items available thru different aftermarket suppliers..... Such as: AITM sells Cab kits, sleepers, frames, suspension parts, engines, misc. engine parts, transmissions, rims, and tires. Then others that may be familiar with, lets say, P&P Resins might add "whatever" he sells, and so forth...… Only trying to suggest something that might help some of us that are not as familiar (or knowledgeable ) as many of you that have been in the hobby more continuously. DJ
  9. Now that's cool!!! Complete with the old Y-block!!! DJ
  10. Lookin' good!!!! And the old "roundie-rounders" look right at home!!! DJ
  11. 20 YEARS AGO???!!! Wow!!!! For sure, "better late than never"!!!! Waiting to see the progress, (cool project)!!! DJ
  12. FANTASTIC BUILD!!!! And it couldn't have been for a better cause...… Hats off to you!!! DJ
  13. You have learned WELL!!!! It's a LOT easier to sleep with BOTH eyes closed!!!! You're making great progress!!!! I see a lot of those type of rigs in our part of Texas..... DJ
  14. Maybe you'll get a little warm weather pretty soon...… Like the progress!!! DJ
  15. EXCEPTIONAL fabrication on this build!!!! Your attention to detail shows!!!! DJ
  16. "Looks pretty good", you're being WAY to modest!!!!! The paint looks deep enough to use for a mirror!!!! FANTASTIC!!!! DJ
  17. AL, You won't be disappointed in DAVE'S products (AITM}. Have ordered several of his cab-kits, and various transmissions, engines, and small parts. If everyone was as good to deal with as he is, and their products as high quality as his, you wouldn't even need a "complaint department"!!!! Look forward to seeing which B-model you choose!!!! DJ
  18. One of the things that I had "ear-marked" years ago, was the list of engines in the kits that FORCE had put together, and, knowing that the supply of aftermarket stuff is LIMITED (to say the least)…… What about a list of "who makes what" in the aftermarket? I know that would be a MAJOR undertaking, but, would be MAJOR helpful to ALL the builders on this forum.... DJ
  19. Both are definitely good looking builds!!!! DJ
  20. Like Rick said...… Put fuel in it and see if you can ride it to work!!!! DJ
  21. Lookin' good!!!! Great job on the save!!! DJ
  22. Oh man... Sorry to hear about the hood!!!! Sounds like one of my "put-it-up-where-I-could-find-it-easy" deals.... Got faith in ya tho, waiting to see new progress... DJ
