  1. Thank you to all who have contributed to this thread!
  2. It is great for sure. But I only know it in the context of machining. And you're not kidding about the arm and leg and 18 teeth price wise. ? I'll check out the link for sure! Thank you for the recommendation.
  3. Nice to actually see something other than run of the mill stuff. This looks great!
  4. Thank you guys for the suggestions. You're right in the get the hang of it before the experimentation. It's used in the shop I work at to get measurements of parts that you otherwise wouldn't be able to get without molding it. Such as dimensions like a countersink. You may need to know the angle of the countersink to mate up with the screw you plan on using. In this instance you would mold the countersink then cut the mold and use edge finding techniques to find the dimensions.
  5. Flex bar reprorubber..... I work in a machine shop and we use this stuff. Anyone heard of it? I want to cast some resin parts and would love to use this as my masters. No release agent needed when making molds but I'm not sure how itd work pouring something into it. FWIW I've never cast but want to.
  6. The other thing I'm thinking since it's going to be lifted I kinda want to do a S.A.S. front end.
  7. I dont know if I like the blue/tan scheme on the 80's although jacked up like this 96 it maybe a different story. However I really like the blue tan on the 96.
  8. Lol I started questioning if I want to go that route. But... the short of it is.... yeah I think so. I printed off an outline and colored it to get a quick idea of a different color scheme.
  9. BNL resins makes some great parts as well. I'll be parts boxing the dogs for a rainy day.
  10. Negative just a front windshield no smokers window. I'll post a pic later.
  11. One thing I've found I'm not overly fond of is theres no bar where the smokers window would be.
  12. I realllllly want to mold that front suspension.
  13. Been all over the place. I have been wanting to do some of this but have gotten pulled in many directions. I'll be building soon tho.
