Yeah that hood is pretty wild. Luckily I work at a machine shop so I can get shim stock to have a rigid work piece. Although I'm more than sure I'll need a couple hoods to get it. -

Seems attainable. I think the hardest part will be color matching. -

I plan on building the d&z customs "project envious" camaro. However I'm not basing mine off the Baldwin. I sort of wish I was but I am using the 70 z/28 from amt. But I'm buying some things here and there for it. I'll be following along as i love this year as well! -
The gt500 I didnt make the same mistake lol

I really regret not paying more attention to the glue I was using on the windows. I havent done that since I was 15. Oh well. Like I said the 50 will make up for it! Thank you for the compliment.

Being born in '85 I basically grew up in a camaro. My mother had an 84 berlinetta. I loved that car. But nothing compared to the infamous iroc! I remember being on Hampton beach in NH and seeing a fire hawk. The new body style. I didnt know how to feel. But overall I like them over the camaro. And you're right! It's crazy to the think it's been 25 years?

Those 500 wheels need some depth. Too shiny...?
-
O... I suppose....

Really didnt do the camaro any favors. It started so strong too. But I wasnt deeply invested in it. It's a curbside kit. No motor. No real suspension... just blah.... but.... I do have a 50th that will redeem the lime green. The shelby however... is my best build so far... challenge accepted!

Very close on the color!

Certainly not as nice as yours! Mine has different pattern than yours tho. IRC the model I built was the 97 formula

Man @mrmike this is incredible!!! Looks like a sema build! Flawless!!! If this was a 1:1 it's easily a 100k car!!!!
-
Great lines on this build! Super sharp!
-
I dig it!!! I finally got the mirrors for mine. However I feel like they're somewhat a 1/24 part on a 1/25 car. And mines aren't body colored although close to.

You sir are crazy or a genius. I thought I knew what you were doing with the spoons. But the other half of me thought... that's gonna need some tweaking but totally doable. Then... 1 spoon becomes 2.... what's this? What a twist! I like it! -
Righteous!

Like you said maybe glue the vynil "into" the seats. Still quite the undertaking.
-
That being said if you did that in a larger scale you could use coated wire or even non coated wire around your seams to give it a more factory made look. Unless of coarse your going leather. I feel like stitching on leather seats tends not to have that extra seam on the edges. Could be wrong tho.
