  1. I'm a late comer to this thread. Looking forward to watching the progress.
  2. Good looking Ford. Very nicely detailed engine compartment!
  3. Love seeing classic MOPARs and especially any Daytonas or Superbirds. Nice job on this, Randy.
  4. You really nailed it, Bill. Makes me feel like I'm back in my little hometown with the AMC dealer. Fantastic attention to detail, especially the dash and tach.
  5. Whoa! Seriously? I'm not at all familiar with the kit. Man, if that's box stock it's MOST impressive. Not sure why, but when I looked at the photos I just assumed it was a real custom piece. OK, so I'm even MORE impressed now. (Can you tell I'm real new to the hobby again?)
  6. Very nicely done! And yeah, what did you use on those whitewalls? They look great.
  7. Great job. I can never see too many Daytonas or Superbirds.
  8. Beautiful build, Dave.
  9. I'm definitely with you on that one, Bill. Just got one of those calls last night, and on my CELL PHONE. Yeah, the fella says, learn how to effortlessly make $10,000 a week. Sure, buddy. And the "Do Not Call List" thing is pretty much a joke and the telemarketers KNOW that.
  10. Yeah, your squirrels are what I call white squirrels. What we have here are albinos, pink eyes and all. As strange as it may be, there are dozens and dozens of them here. You see them everywhere. I've got one in my backyard. He visits almost daily. But they are, in fact, all albinos. Really strange to have any mammal continue to produce generation after generation of more albinos. Yeah, ours are white, but not the way I think. I consider your kind to really be white. Oh, well.
  11. Don't know for sure, but have you tried Scale Equipment LTD? They have several different sizes of tires and also have whitewall decals. Maybe that would work for you. Links below to their 'Tires' page and another link to tire dimension chart. http://www.seltd.net/ez-catalog/X344897/26 https://images54.fotki.com/v1642/photos/2/3733132/14239300/TireDim3-vi.jpg
  12. Exceptional result from a snap kit. I happen to have a '63 Vette snap kit. Yours gives me inspiration, for sure.
  13. Nice job! Love to see good looking MOPARs.
  14. Toothbrushes! Yeah, something as simple as a toothbrush has me irked right now. I just got a gallon of SuperClean and a big pan with tight fitting lid to remove paint from a couple of kits I have in my stash. I asked my wife to pick up a regular, medium hard, straight bristle toothbrush. They apparently don't exist! She's been to 5 different stores looking for one, but none to be found. You can buy pretty much every configuration of curved handled, angled brush, super duper, etc, etc, brush you want, but not a straight handled, straight bristled, plain old toothbrush! I finally found a couple of different denture brushes that should be just fine for use with the cleaner. Who would have thought?
  15. Add me to the list of guys that think the color is OK. It's absolutely different, but it does have a certain appeal to it. The wheels definitely need to go, whether full hubcaps or maybe chrome reverses with Moons.
  16. Fantastic job. That's one fine looking MOPAR. Love the color.
  17. There's always Linux. Leave your problems behind. Take a look at Linux Lite.
  18. Olney.
  19. Thanks for the link. Lots of detailing and massaging went into that build. I just keep picking up little tidbits from all these build threads. I REALLY appreciate being able to see the little bits and pieces that result in the finished build. It helps newbies like me a LOT.
  20. No, and i just tried searching for it. I don't seem to have very good luck searching on this forum. I can't seem to turn up what I'm looking for. Could you share a link?
  21. I've got a real soft spot for Studes. I've got a couple of Avanti kits in my stash. I'll be watching your build.
  22. Fantastic! A real beauty.
  23. Hey, Tulio. I'm a newbie to building, or a re-newbie after about 50 years. The attention to detail you show is incredible to me. This thing is looking fantastic. Hope you don't mind a newbie type question. I noticed where you foiled the emblems, then painted the white. A few posts later I see that the emblems are bright and shiny again, but you didn't mention how you got the white paint off the emblems. How is that done?
  24. I'll be looking for those next photos. I love gassers of any kind. I just saw a '57 gasser kit on evilbay today and thought about making an offer. From what I'm seeing so far with yours, I might just go ahead and make an offer. Outstanding choice of colors! The 2 blues really work well together.
  25. Well, dang. I read it as the one I received being the last issue and threw the mailing label away.
