How about turning the back of that roof part to the front so that the grills are facing the front, then at the back of the roof vent you can add a small vent inside the roof to act as a vent system to bring fresh air inside the cab
Ya I know what you mean regarding Monogram. When I was growing up in the 50's in Chicago and into models it was a great time as my aunt worked for Monogram. I don't have to tell you that all my gifts were models, what a great time
I'm working on a 65 Comet that has the same color that your looking for. I purchased a can of Dupli-Color True Blue paint. It's a Ford color that almost black with a slight blue tint. The number for the paint is BFM0358 True Blue (L2) Replaces T298..........right off the cap......
I had the same problem with my Tempest, I think that the enamel did not have enough time to dry. I've read where some guys let the paint cure for 7 to 10 days.
I would use some 5 minute epoxy to install your glass. I would use some masking tape to hold the glass in place and then use the epoxy around the inside of the glass to the body. any excess glue can be cleaned off you glass if not careful
get yourself some white miliiput a two part putty and sculpt it into the seat and while it still workable start shaping your design. It will dry to a hard surface in about 24 hours. One thing to remember is to keep your fingers wet when working with this stuff. go to u-tube and check out videos of the stuff in use.
