Yes you're right about that! I was in my teens back then in the late 80s working at a body shop doing a lot of odd jobs and buffing etc. and I distinctly remember a couple of monte Carlo SS's Rolling through the shop in the fit and finish was a bit sketchy LOL but I always thought they were good looking cars that should've had more power.

Looks tough with those fat tires in back!

Hi all, been a while since I finished something but here it is , the MPC 86 El Camino. Box stock with Testors lacquer. Duplicolor engine blue for the interior and tonneau cover. It was fun because it's different than the usual stuff I build! Some finicky areas to deal with but for the most part it went to the other wel finicky areas to deal with but for the most part it went together well. Not the best job I've ever done but it looks cool on the shelf . Thank you for looking and I'll say it anyway , Mopar to ya lol. ?
