Glad you kept all your stuff from your childhood days, Snake! I gave all mine away after high school which was 30 years ago and a lot of them were cool old JoHan kits I built up, among other neat stuff.
Another awesome build Randy! I'm in the middle of the same kit, in the same color combo! Guess I'll just sit on the couch and look at yours instead lol!! Your 'Bees look great together.
I like to use it last. As was mentioned above sometimes clear can actually dull the shine. Also I will lightly sand the areas that it will be applied to during my wet sanding and polishing of the clearcoat, and it seems to help it adhere better. I've got models that are 10 or 15 years old and the bare metal foil is still on them firmly .
For anyone who's built or building MPC's recent 1970 Superbee and is using the 440 six Barrel, the intake manifold is way short. It leaves a bad gap between it and the back of the block. Anyone else noticed this? I've checked everything. Thanks in advance!
