  1. If you run out of Dijon mustard, don't despair. Call the Grey Poupon Delivery Express! Immediate straight line delivery. * *Curves may take longer.
  2. Thanks guys! I had a GREAT time researching it, building it and writing about it. Gregg, You made me spill coffee all over my desk Thanks, Wayne.... ehh I mean....
  3. There is one little detail on the pic that hints model to me, but I'm not 100% sure. That car is another missing link in the styrene 1/24 1/25 world. I'd love to get a plastic model of that. Thanks,
  4. Helo, If anyone is interested, I just started a thread on this build in the ARC helicopter forum. http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index....howtopic=169191 Thanks,
  5. You are right, The MASH helicopter is a Bell 47 and it was initially designated H-13 Sioux. I have one started in 1/35 scale..... I'll soon start a thread on the Cheyenne in the ARC forum. I'll keep you posted on the link. Thanks,
  6. Hello, Due to a recent Grail score, I'm pushing away all car models for now. I'll be active in the forum as usual, but my workbench will be dedicated to this: 1968 Aurora 1/72 AH-56 Cheyenne helicopter. A crude kit but, since when I like it easy? Which with a LOT of scratchbulding, I hope to end up looking like this: You can see my non-automotive models in the "My personal models page" link in my signature... You can now return to our regularly scheduled program, already in progress Thanks,
  7. Guess which tire has not been touched and which one has about 1 hour of work? Thanks,
  8. I'm still waiting for #134! Darn turtle is such a slow swimmer.....
  9. While votes are been counted....... including mine.... The seat was not any better than the other parts. Lots of sanding and fitting. The center section was removed and redone. I had to add some pins and pieces to make it fit and stay in place. Thanks,
  10. Cool racer....
  11. Good start! One of my favorite cars. If I may offer a suggestion, you can remove the parts from the sprue before painting to avoid a retouch or a mark when cutting. To hold the part, you can tape the same sprue to the inside of the part. Lokking forward to see this done! Thanks,
  12. Nice! Very Elegant car... Thanks,
  13. I was surprised to see these cars up close in 2006 in Atlanta at the Petit LeMans, and the paint job was not that great. Maybe a field repaint on the doors? Thanks,
  14. Important milestone in this project: While still far from "sitting on all 4" the suspension geometry is done! I forsee adjustment to be just as challenging, but I'm happy up to this point... Thanks,
  15. Thank you everybody! Dave, that looks GREAT! I considered that scheme for mine at the begining. Mirage, a fellow modeler ran away with those wheels, but let me ask around. I'll let you know if I find anything. Thanks,
  16. Now the challenge gets steeper: Making it symmetrical on the other side, where there is no location reference point whatsoever. Ever heard the term measure twice drill once? Thanks,
  17. Hello, I fear this may sound as a sales pitch, but here I go anyways: I've been working with cell phones for about 15 years. I consider myself hard to impress. But look at the following pictures: These were taken with a new cell phone camera. These pics are straight out of the phone with no processing whatsoever. The unit is a Motorola ZN5 with a 5 Megapixel camera!!! Developed in conjunction with Kodak. It has a macro mode (HURRAY!) and a Xenon flash. Autofocus, low light setting and the whole nine yards! As a cell phone it has all the bells and whistles you'd expect. Bluetooth, WiFi, video capture, web access, etc... I know not everybody like the latest and greatest gadgets, but I'm impressed with this little bugger. Guess what I'll be carrying in my pocket from now on..... Thanks,
  18. Cool concept! How did you do the salt in the tires? I may have to try a salt racer myself just for fun.... Thanks,
  19. I hear 'ya! But you did a great job with it! It certainly looks cool....
  20. If you are willing to wait, I promised a resin caster I would do a master for the Callaway coupe so it can be offered in resin as a body transkit. But that is still far into the future...... Thanks,
  21. Wow, I can't believe it's been 20 years already! October 26, 1988, The Callaway Sledgehammer Corvette set a world speed record for a street legal car of 254.76 MPH. Non other than John Lingenfelter did the driving duty on those runs. The record stood for over 17 years and I believe it was recently broken by a purpose built car, not sure but I think it is related to Saleen. I've always had in the back of my mind the idea of doing a model of this car. Who knows, maybe someday I'll jump in... Here is a video documentary of the test. Thanks,
  22. Steve, Congratulations on taking a leap of faith. You will be OK. An important tip is to test fit everything, not only once but regularly during the process since tolerances are usually tight in this type of multimedia kits. The earlier you adjust the parts, the less surprises you'll get later on. Post pictures as you go! I'm interested.. Thanks, Ismael
  23. Rear suspension in progress... Will it ever be finished? Thanks,
  24. Welcome to the forum and to the hobby! That is a very nice looking '70. Looking forward to see more pictures. Thanks,
  25. I can't ship pony express unless the pony is a REALLY good swimmer
