  1. Nice STS! Love the color combo. Very elegant. Thanks,
  2. Use the "Write-in" area of the ballot
  3. Hello! Time for my traditional year end modeling poll. I've been away from the workbench for over 3 weeks now and it is very unlikely I'll be back soon, let alone finish anything. So my Class of 2008 is set. You can vote for your favorite and I'll compare the results with my own ranking. 4. Hasegawa 250 Testa Rossa. Not much for me this year.
  5. WOW! Cool! One of my all time favorite Ferraris. I've always dreamed of an "affordable" plastic kit of this car. I consider it one of the most beautiful sounding cars in history. Quoting Alan DeCadenet in the Ferrari Victory by Design DVD: "For 1972 the World's Championship for sports car racing consisted of 10 races around the world. This little baby won, all 10 of them. Only the factory ever ran these cars in anger. Mr Ferrari considered that they were a bit too tricky for private entries" "What would constitute my dream sports car? well, I'd like a formula 1 type chassis, clothed in a sexy aerodynamic body, flat 12, 4 cams, 48 valves, fuel injected Formula 1 engine, driving thru a 5 speed gearbox. And 600 to 700 HP per ton. Oh, and I want it bright red too. That is exactly what I have here. The 312 PB" Thanks,
  6. Beautiful job as usual! A great rendition of a great Ferrari. Well done!
  7. One of my favorite projects of all time. Love to see progress on it! Thanks,
  8. Some progress: http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index....howtopic=169191 Thanks,
  9. I see my name on the storyboard, right under the Nova...
  10. Darn it! 19/20. I missed the BMW question for not reading carefully
  11. Hello, This is most likely my last model of the year. I am so busy these days it's not funny. As soon as I press the Post button I'm heading out of town for a few days. Not the greatest kit and not exactly my favorite subject of all time, but it was a fun experience. I like the end result, but it probably ranks dead last for my builds this year. Anyway, here is my British Smurf Heller 1/43 Jaguar XJ-S The classic picture with the giant ruler Just had a little fun with Photosop. I know the lightning needs to be tweaked but it was just for fun. Thanks,
  12. Congratulations Dave! That is the ABSOLUTE BEST blessing you can get! That is the best part of life bar none. He'll be ready to be a cub scout in 2013. Thanks,
  13. Darn Lucas Electric! The Power Window failed and it is stuck halfway! Thanks,

    Astro 1

WOW! That is WAY cool! One of my old grails of all time, and I think it is the first time I see one finished. Looks GREAT! Thanks,
  15. Side glass made with acetate. Kit's parts were way too thick and distorted. Thanks,
  16. The Smurf: Chrome and black trim Thanks,
  17. Hello, This was set aside to dry almost a month ago. Next time you want to complaint about metal foil in a 1/24 car give me a call..... I added windshield wipers made out of wires. Remember this is 1/43 scale... Thanks,
  18. If you run out of Dijon mustard, don't despair. Call the Grey Poupon Delivery Express! Immediate straight line delivery. * *Curves may take longer.
  19. Thanks guys! I had a GREAT time researching it, building it and writing about it. Gregg, You made me spill coffee all over my desk Thanks, Wayne.... ehh I mean....
  20. There is one little detail on the pic that hints model to me, but I'm not 100% sure. That car is another missing link in the styrene 1/24 1/25 world. I'd love to get a plastic model of that. Thanks,
  21. Helo, If anyone is interested, I just started a thread on this build in the ARC helicopter forum. http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index....howtopic=169191 Thanks,
  22. You are right, The MASH helicopter is a Bell 47 and it was initially designated H-13 Sioux. I have one started in 1/35 scale..... I'll soon start a thread on the Cheyenne in the ARC forum. I'll keep you posted on the link. Thanks,
  23. Hello, Due to a recent Grail score, I'm pushing away all car models for now. I'll be active in the forum as usual, but my workbench will be dedicated to this: 1968 Aurora 1/72 AH-56 Cheyenne helicopter. A crude kit but, since when I like it easy? Which with a LOT of scratchbulding, I hope to end up looking like this: You can see my non-automotive models in the "My personal models page" link in my signature... You can now return to our regularly scheduled program, already in progress Thanks,
  24. Guess which tire has not been touched and which one has about 1 hour of work? Thanks,
  25. I'm still waiting for #134! Darn turtle is such a slow swimmer.....
