  1. I love that car.. That black paint job looks to be about a mile deep, it's awesome!
  2. Excellent project you've got going here.. I've always dug this car too.. Then I remembered, hey, I've got some pics of it in my files that cannot possibly aid in this build thread! Better post em anyway! Probably my favorite photo of this car, and it is too cool that they used a '57 Plymouth Fury to haul this thing around with on a tow bar, AND used it for push-starts, etc. I'd love to have a resin kit of this car someday..
  3. NO WAY dude! I've got some similar reference material showing the different paint and graphics options available thru the Chrysler Corporate Service Vehicle program.. Never seen any Edsel dealer service truck stuff anywhere before.. Excellent find!
  4. Thanks for the correction, as I really wasn't too sure on the years.. I seen both the '59 and '60 model year being attributed to one of those trucks in the SAME paragraph! Lol..the internet.. I was only sure of one thing, and that is that they sure were cool lookin!
  5. Yeah, I'll be grabbing up a couple of these kits for sure.. 1957 F-350 wrecker 1959 F-100 And as cool as these Fords are, I really dig the Mercury M-Series versions.. I can't be the only one who's going to build one of these kits as a Mercury.. 1957 M-100 1957 M-350 1959 M-100 1959 M-100
  6. I'd buy every single one of them if they were released again! Exner cars are the best cars..
  7. Yo, THANKS for the links and info yall! Those Diolex hubcaps will work for my purposes.. They got some other pretty neat stuff listed too by the look of it..
  8. Yo, what's up.. I'm doing a commission build, that I'll ultimately start an individual thread on because it is pretty cool, but I've found myself in need of either these exact style of wire wheelcovers, or something that is pretty dang close : They are 1986-92 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham rear wheel drive wheelcovers.. SO, is there anyone that casts these in resin? Or more likely, can 3D print them? I've done a bit of searching and haven't come up with too much..
  9. I found out that the ones from the AMT '58 Edsel version that had continental kit & skirts worked out pretty well on my AMT '57 Fairlane 500 project with some minor adjustments..
  10. I mean, THIS one.. It will likely be the ONLY sixties Pace Car in my Indy Pace Car collection that I will never be able to get.. Short of Round2 doing their resurrection magick and re-issuing it someday..
  11. This. The Captain America lookin '70 AMC Rebel Machine is maybe the coolest car that AMC produced during the Muscle Car era. Been lookin for one of the Jo-Hans that is priced using Earth-based currency for years.
  12. YES. I'd love to have a '72 kit to build into the '72 Satellite Sebring Plus that my parents had way back.. Impossible, practically, because like you said, to buy an original annual is too d-mn much money.. Those fellas at Round2 sure are on the ball ain't they?
  13. Direct replacement parts for vintage kits and promos - bumpers, hubcaps, taillights, hood ornaments, steering wheels, windshield frames, etc.. Also, convertible up-tops..
  14. Holy smokes, that thing is the t-ts! I'll take 2! And if speculation is correct, and by the look of the rear interior panels which *look* like convertible style ones, maybe there'll be a proper convertible in the future? Then I could finally be able to build a model of my 1:1.. Good, good stuff..
  15. Sorry, not wanting to derail here.. Yer car is coming along real sweet! Moebius ought to get on it.. I'll add a few more '55-6 beauties to gawk at :
  16. Ditto, I'd love to have one as well.. As far as I know, THIS : https://hum3d.com/3d-models/chrysler-turboflite-1961/ is the only game in town.. A bit pricey, but definitely able to be 3D printed..
  17. Nope, only heard the stories.. The REAL E. Scheib was before my time.. I earned that moniker via doing high quality paint and body works for the last couple decades, go figure lol Around here we DID have Maaco tho, Scheibs spiritual successors whom would respray your car in any color for $149.95 and they sprayed everything including trim, weather stripping, bugs, dirt, tires, and lenses.. I'll give em this at least, their paint works were unbelievably shiny!
  18. Why the odd shape? "Chrysler in the 1950s" is usually my go to blanket statement.. I do know that these ones were only used in the Imperial and Chrysler 300 B without Air Conditioning.. Here's a couple '56 300 B pics where you can see it.. This next one is from an all original car and is kinda worn, but you can see that, at one time, the speaker frame was tan.. And here's a '56 Imperial Newport.. And one more '56 Imperial.. Oh, and uh, I almost forgot..
  19. It's the rear speaker grille and frame. Grille would be black, and frame would be the same color as the package tray, so in a 300 B, it'd be tan..
  20. Holy smokes! I'm pretty sure I need that!
  21. Yup, I remember that DeSoto Seville build you did, it turned out real sweet.. Inspired me to try an hunt down a Jo-Han '55 DeS 4-dr promo to do a build of the crusty $800 driver I bought in 2000 just before getting out of H.S., but, still ain't found the kit yet.. As for this 300 yer doin, may as well open the other door, and the trunk too at this point lol..
