  1. Never found one. My primary interests tend to be on preWW2 vehicles, so share your frustration.
  2. A high dollar 3 day road trip to support the Phoenix Art Museum. Always has a bunch of interesting cars. https://whulsey.smugmug.com/Cars/2016-04-10-Copperstate-1000/
  3. Another build that rings my bell. This could get expensive.
  4. Nice work, like the lighting. Just wish they were a bit cheaper, guess the licensing was big bucks.
  5. Nice cars. Would love to go to this show: but not enough money and no passport guess it won't happen.
  6. This kit was discussed on the Spotlight board recently. Wish it would get reissued. Wish I'd seen more of Harry's work when he was still here to tell him how good it is. Here's a photo of the prototype in the Bandai Museum.
  7. Cool, another paper modeler even if only occasionally. Was that by Modelik?
  8. What was the source for that? Glad to see someone else here that does cardstock models...and actually finishes them
  9. That is such a beautiful plane. Just can't justified the cost of the model since I have so many other projects already. Was really sad to hear about the replica crashing. Never did hear if Safety Board issued a final report, but then I'm at least 4 months behind on Air Classics.
  10. Don't know when I'll get started on mine, but thanks for the assembly tips and things to watch for. For the gray paint I read in one of the Ferguson publications that there was a lot of variety in the color even on the same tractor. Being cheap, Ferguson used surplus Navy gray paint and as they came down the line for painting there was a painter on each side. So depending on batches it wouldn't match from side to side sometimes. This was just after WW2 and they were just trying to get product out that functioned.
  11. Wow, another one, Going to have to go through the listing and see what else you've done. Personal preference is for the older ones, but still nice work.
  12. Wow that is pretty cool. Wish we could get some of those in 1/25-24 scale.
  13. Not sure what you mean. It is a early 70's Bond Bug that was made in England for several years. Bond had been in business since the late 40's building microcars. The model was made from 180g/cm cardstock from a simple fold up model that used to be available on the 3 Wheeler site. I printed out a 2nd copy to layer to create more 3d effects such as the hood scoop, wipers and gas cap. No paint, just printed colors with a bit of Prismacolor touch up on edges. Like I said a simple, quickie just to get something finished. Would like to do a more detailed version with interior someday. Yeah right!
  14. Here's the only thing I've completed in the last few years. A simple card model that I did a bit of greebeling on.
  15. Nice job, didn't know that one was available. One of my favorite Ferraris. Here's one I shot recently.
  16. Been working on this for over a year off and on. Finally getting track links together so been moving on to other parts. Figured if I could get the tracks done the rest would be simple in comparison.
  17. Try this: <plumber-boy1@cox.net> Wayne
  18. Links are 404. If you're still around could you repost the links, especially interested in the Dyson cars and Ferrari SP333. Would appreciate it greatly.
  19. Realized I should have posted my first visit, has a few different things and more shots of ones that I didn't reshoot for the other set. https://whulsey.smugmug.com/Airplanes/2011-08-20-Estrella-Warbirds/i-jMHhsSc Here's a Hot Rod Magazine car that I'm sure a lot of us 'older' folks remember. A real oldie, a 1937 Drake-Harley midget driven by Bill Vukovich, Sr, More at link, think I got the tags thing figured out now. ENJOY!
