  1. Ahh grasshopper, you have much to learn! You keep testing my knowledge, are you satisfied yet? I can tell by the little bits of sheetmetal I can see in the pic. The radiator support isn't car color, it's flat black because it's a bolt on item and all of those cars have that feature. That, and the washer tank, and the power steering bottle, and..... I can keep going! (I'm surprised you aren't wondering how I know it's a 1.8L...)
  2. 87-92 GTI or Jetta with a 1.8L 16V on throttle bodies(mmmmmmmmmm )
  3. It's only easy if you can remember where you saw the pic before..... I know I have that pic in print somewhere; now if I could just figure out where....
  4. Hey Nick, why don't you just order some of that spray can carbon fiber from the April 07 issue?
  5. Definitely 70s Porsche 924. (Bleah!)
  6. Yeah, just throw on a ball cap with a bunch of long curly hair attached to the back, and pick up a guitar and you got it! Oh, but you need to fix your socks! That looks great, Randy! I can't wait to see it at the Sept. meeting. Meanest looking Bugeye I've ever seen!
  7. Hey! No fair flipping the pic so we don't think it's "wrong-hand-drive"!
  8. I love the surprise they get around 8:00 into it. Classic!!! Worth watching the whole way through! The first three were cool, also; especially the third one!
  9. What?!?! You FORGOT your favorite German engine?!? What about Audi's 5 banger? I had an 84 5000 wagon as a yard car when I worked in an import junkyard. I could not kill that thing. I never ran it out of oil, but then again I had all the used oil I could ever want in the cars coming in..... Ahh, fond memories. I remember doing a side-step clutch-action in that thing; that motor is so torquey that it just dug in and threw me back in the seat! Its a good thing the E-brake didn't work very well because I'm sure I would have taken out a couple of cars on the ends of the rows with that long behemoth!
  10. I've been following this one the whole way. I gotta say great job! Lots of imagination on this build. I built one of these as out-of-box about a year ago and I really liked it. I have a couple of different Lindy' kits to bash together now, and you got me motivated and thinking which parts to scavenge for another 1/32 build. I need to see what I can do with the 32 roadster in the pile. Again, GREAT JOB, and I can't wait to see what you have next!
  11. I had mine done about 15 years ago. I had all four types of extractions. I was put under and didn't feel any pain afterward. None, that is until my first cigarette! If you smoke, quit for two weeks and you'll be fine. (Hell, if you make it two weeks, you might as well quit for good! )
  12. I'll throw a few details out there; Its a Nissan 300ZX IMSA GTU racer from the late 80s/early 90s. CAL, you have any more details for Nicky-boy?
  13. I don't think you're gonna find an angle of a Scirocco that I don't know..... So that being said, it's a 86-92 Scirocco with ATS 01 alloy wheels in what appears to be 15x7J fitment wearing Toyo tires in 195/50R15 size....
  14. I want to say Audi 50, but it was only a hatchback. What is it then? I'm not sure about the model of DKW, it was only described as a DKW sedan.
  15. I think I'll throw one out there again. It's been quite a while since I posted one so, try this one: Manufacturer will be enough.
  16. 75-79 VW Polo Derby. And a very cool one indeed!
  17. WOW! Never seen that before! A Volvo hot rod. ME LIKEY!!! Oh, and it's Mr. smart arse to you!
  18. Audi 75 and if it was a whole car, the front end would still be in the pic.......
  19. Audi's Trans Am racer from '88!!! IIRC, it ran those colors and it runs Nick's favorite engine.
  20. I still wanna stick with a Touring Car of some type.....
  21. Total stab in the dark.... An Audi touring car?
  22. WAIT!!!! What about TVR?
  23. This pic makes me think "Maybach or M-B S-Class" only because it looks like a pair of dual window panes rolled part way down.(like bulletproof glass...) but this pic: makes me think no. I'll go with Zeb, Aston Martin.
  24. You gotta know what to Google..... Try this link: http://www.924.org/models/ShootingBrake.htm If you google "924 Shooting Brake" This is what I found.
