Gel type super glue has some filling capability. There is Tenax, or Ambroid. adhesives that melt the plastic while bonding, the melted plastic results in a filling action. if the filling point is large then there are a few hobby alternatives like Sqaudron Green, and White colored putties. Tamiya Gray, and White Basic putties, are helpful. There are several other alternatives out there.

I think if you connect the Vent hose to the top of the bucket, and have the bucket filled about 1/2 way with activated Charcoal. Then have an exit hose on the opposite side, is how its done. I remember seeing pictures long ago .But cant remember where. It could have been Car Modeler Magazine, or SAE.

Revell Customer Service
my80malibu replied to Rick Schmidt's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I had a similar experience, of bad customer service a few months back with Revell, and Model King. With a 57 ford Custom Police car. I bought a sealed kit undamaged appearing kit, after opening found broken Special police parts unique to that kit. Sent a request to Revell for replacement parts. Recived a E-mail that they wanted to have me send broken parts back to them before they would honor my request. I asked them if pictures would be sufficient,or if they would like to handle the shipping cost. "I figured I had already Bought the Kit why should I pay for shipping too" The response from Revell was they did not have in stock any extra parts for the kit to send me. Extra parts were sent to Dave Metzner of Model King, and that parts requests for damaged, or missing parts needed to be directed to Dave. Revell did supply me with Dave Metzner's phone number. The conversation I had with Dave about this. Ended with Dave telling me he had no extra parts, and that I needed to contact Revell for replacement parts. Revell wants me to contact Dave Again. If does not produce the parts then to contact Ed Sexton. I JUST GAVE UP AFTER THIS! My opinions of Revell and Dave Metzner have taken an all time low. As a former loyal, and supportive consumer. I feel that this Customer Service sucks. I guess whether it's Moebius, or some other Model Manufacturer. Sometimes you get good service, and Sometimes not. -
HOW DO I DO A "WASH" ON A GRILL
my80malibu replied to cschick's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I like to use this Model Master black gloss, or semi. Thinned to a water color consistency, then with a medium bristled brush, apply to one side of the grille, let it flow naturally to the areas that are in tight places. If it gets out of hand, let it dry then clean it up using a brush with clean thinner. -

Just out of curiosity. What are the Warranties like on Different Manufacturers airbrushes? Badger has excellent repair, and return. On their AB's they are the only ones, I know who do this. Are there others? -
