Automotive Laquers come in three grades. Low, Med, & Hot. Printed on the can you will see temperature ranges recommended for useing the product. The cheap hardware stuff is generally around the low range. If you are going to use Automotive paint for models, you would want the Low,or Medium temp Reducer/thinner, for the brand of paint you are using, or its Equivalent brand. The paint supplier will know what works, and doesn't work in most cases. If you are working with resin. You can use any one of the three temps, resin is more resistant to hot laquer paints.

Post #5,523 gives reference to there being. At least Five versions of this kit. So just what is the Big Deal in sharing a couple of Photos amongst a group of friends. There was no trade secret lost here. From what I have read. There was never a secret at all. If ever there was a secret Moebius, should not have announced to the World from a Toy show that there were going to produce a kit like this.

I was surprised to see the pictures we're taken off. However whats done is done. If Moebius wanted to keep a secret, they could have done a better job of it.

One bad little ride

It would depend on what type of paint was used. if it's acrylic, it will almost wash off with some gentle scrubbing. Enamel,and laquer paint will need something stronger,use laquer thinner with q-tip swabs. I do this when I black wash a grill. Most of the chrome is garbage in that kit. IMHO. You would be better off with alclad.

You probably wouldn't have much trouble with a model company in regard to copy right infringement. We as modelers have to change so much, from thier mistakes. That it Kind of Makes it our own creation. look at Revell's Mustang LX, Nova, Charger, and others. Let the model companies get thier act together before they come after Me or You. What would the Legal Be if you cast some kit parts for a friend and did not charge him a price, but he made a donation to your Charitable resin supply fund would that be Ok in the Eyes of the Law

No this this means that you have Danbury mint Orignal series.You wil be able to purchase, the New Danbury mint series at Harbor Freight stores soon, for about $10.00 bucks a piece. These will have paperwork titles written in Chinese.

Warping is a huge disappointment in working with resin. Extensive clean up sucks too.

They have a forum to ask technical questions, which you will most likely locate the answers, you are seeking from Industry trained professionals. I see that you are in Norway,I have to ask where would you get parts for an American cars over there? Would you have to search the internet, then have parts shipped to you, I know thats common. But isn't that expensive too?

There are enough TT IIs out there to choose from, none are a direct fit for what this builder is looking for. Most or all will need some modification. Hot wheels "Topcop series" of diecast's vehicles, available some years back that had TTIIs used on them those might work. Although they may be too wide or too narrow. However it occurs to me, that you will need to adjust the rear section of the model to accomodate wider tires, so why not acommodate the wheel width while your at it.
