Model car prices in Canada are already over $35 for a kit so I can’t imagine the prices if they are coming from overseas.

Today I got my mower out in the sun for some pics. I am on the final stretch with it as I only have a handful of things to do before race day which is only 8 days away.

I have had the amt Firestone ford for a while not knowing what to do with it (due to the extra long wheelbase) but after looking at some pics on the internet I seen some pulling trucks with long wheelbases so I dug out the kit found a blower and I will try to biuld it. The engine is a 460 from the kit, the blower is from a drag car and the tires are mega block (LEGO). comments welcome.

I read about the HEMI HEALY in a hot rod mag one time it would be a fun biuld that I have thought of in the past.

Here’s an update it is painted the engine is almost finished and the interior just needs assembled.

Thanks guys. It has been a while since my last update but I got some work done. Made the truck muddy and started painting the interior (I will get pictures of the interior when it is put together).

Thanks guys. Geno I never knew that the 440-6pack never came with AC so thanks for teaching me something new. I probably will still keep the AC as there is always a possibility of it getting installed later in its life and original it’s what I’m going for with this as it will have a set of long tube headers, traction bars and a few other things that aren’t exactly factor. you will have to post some pics of your 69 when it is done.

I did get it started. The problem was that it wasn’t getting any fuel. I had tried to wire it to the coil but I couldn’t get it to work. I will try again today. I also HATE wiring.

Today I had a lot of things that irked me 1: I biult a new shifter for my mower and when I went to look for the handle I wanted to use I couldn’t find it (hurst T handle that my Dad gave me) 2: I was trying to do some wiring on my mower (put in a toggle kill switch and a tachometer) but I couldn’t get them to work. 3: I went to Canadian tire to buy paint for a model car, a new shifter handle and amp meter for my mower and the had none of it.

Today I seen • 1970 challenger it sounded like a HEMI • 1955 Chevy • 1957 Chevy • 1967 Pontiac gto •1974ish Pontiac firebird • ford ranchero • 1980s 4x4 dodge truck and maybe a few more that I can’t remember.

That was the one just at that time it only had 2 blowers

Thanks snake I think I will be going green because in my mind every time I look at the car in my mind I see it green. I got the engine painted and I started assembling it. I also decided that I’m going to use the hood scoop and paint the hood flat black.

I seen another one of theis things today ^, a 6x6 military cabover on a trailer, Rat rod truck with an LS engine and a little mg roadster.
