Here’s what I’ve done. I’ve shortened the frame, added 3 turbos and modified some other things here and there. After doing some math the engine I’m running at best gets 4mpg and the fuel tank on the model holds around 100 gallons a pice and lm running 4 tanks+an extra spare tank and the cannonball run is about 3300 miles and after all the math I will have to make one fuel stop. due to some other more important projects I have going on right now I probably won’t get to much done until later in the year.

Doc Love's Street Beast Update 3/12/18 Finished
426 pack replied to Buffs Fan's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
Will be watching this. The street beast is one of my favourite cars on the show. -
Up in The great white north (BC Canada) we have had temperatures around 0 and not much snow. It’s so nice I almost feel like wearing shorts.

Looks good. I’m 16 and I started building around the age of 12 and your model is much better than my first.

Ok, question on Amnesty builds
426 pack replied to DrKerry's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I just call them my unfinished builds or entire collection. -
Thanks guys. I haven’t done much to it lately as I don’t have a base yet and I currently have some other projects on the go.

Thanks guys for all the help you have given me some ideas for when I build my desk by the way DrKerry I’m not a Vikings fan I just have it because it looks cool. The only sport that I watch is hockey (I’m a Canadian) and my favourite team is the Edmonton Oilers

Looks good. Good to see that Santa got rid of the old reindeer and upgraded to something with real horse power.

Don’t know if this counts but it is currently the only thing that I have that moves under its own power. It my high performance racing machine. craftsman LT2000 with a high performance 724cc Briggs&stratton v-twin making 22HP with open headers with a 6” pulley of the motor and a 4” on the 5 speed transaxle with a welded diff that spins the 20”x10” rear tires, it’s got a custom painted racing stripe, lowered seat for better center of gravity and a homemade throttle on the steering wheel. I just built it this year and it took home 2nd place in the last race I did. It is going to undergoing a total redo due to the fact that half the differential is a pile of metal at the bottom of the transaxle and it was part of a 3 mower pileup in the last race and wrecked the front end and bent the hood.

I think this is the one that cowboy rich is talking about.

Thanks. Here’s a better pic of the license plates. I have a tool box beside my desk. It was on sale at Walmart a couple of years ago with tools.

It is a revell 359 peterbilt that I’m building for the 2018 cannonball run community biuld: it will be shortened into a day cab, three turbos with water to air intercooler on a 3406 cat engine, 4 fuel tanks, custom interior with a roll cage and much more. Here are some mock-up pics as I can’t start building until January 1st but I want to know what you guys think of it.

That is just a diorama that I am building so it's not there when I am working on a model car. I guess I forgot to point that out earlier.
