I have never tried bare metal foil my local hobby shop has never had any but it is something I have wanted to try.

Looks good it gives me some ideas for a future build.

I store mine tip up to and it still leaks I think it has something to do with the cap when I take it of it twists the threads and opens it a bit. I'm going to try to tape mine shut so it can't happen and if that doesn't work I will dump it in a small paint jar and use a brush to apply it.

I have a dremal drill press it's not as fancy as the one you have but I like it. It is a lot beter for drilling than free handed and can work good for many othere things to. I also have a vice like the one in the picture and I works good.

I recently got myself a 2mm mlowtow pen and I was using it today and realized that there was chrome leaking through the threaded on refill cap has anyone had this happen before?

As a Canadian I know what you mean about the weather when it is cools and snowing one day and sunny and warm the next it makes a mess of everything and then you have slushy and wet roads that are almost as bad as a icy roads. Your dodge looks great the canopy and colour combolook good on that truck. and there is nothing wrong with a dirty truck then it looks like you use it. The stripe on the box that says power wagon is cool. The only problem with the power wagon is that they don't come with the cummins engine.

Here are a cuple pics of the exhaust and engine bay. they still need a lot more detailing and and if anyone has any pics of how throttle linkage and fule lines would be with the intake setup that I'm running that would be very helpfull. what is the thing on the raidiator that I have painted silver and do you think I should leave it or get rid of it?

Body is painted and chromed. Still needs some tuchup work but I am happy so far. Dose anyone know how long I should let the mlowtow chrome dry for?

I had to cut out the inner fenders because I modified the suspension a little and flipped the spindles. I didn't channel the body as it would be to much modifying in the interior. The 4 link is something I built about 2 years ago and it still needs some work and I need to build rear inner fenders.

Exhaust is done and engine is painted. just started building inner fenders. should be in paint by tomorrow evening. Comments welcome

when I stated this build I wanted something that looked like a older custom but wit good fuel economy and reliable so it could be driven anywhere. With the 4.6 I just wanted a good motor that would have lots of parts available in the real world and it was the best motor I had in my parts box.

Thanks for the coments everyone. I should have an update in the next couple hours as I am currently working on the exhaust. Expo as for hubcaps the stock ones don't look to bad but I'm not shure yet on what I'm going to do. Pic is of the rims with and without I have decided to run an auto trans from the revell 32 ford 5 window 2in1 302 engine. And ignore the colours on the engine as it was like that before I started this project and it will be re-painted. Comments welcome.

Looks good. I like the running boards (up in the great white north those running boards are deadly when they have ice on them) but that thing won't need to worry about that in the shelf. Your suspension look great and I like how you did a solid axle swap up front.

Got some suspention work done on it so now it sits about 3mm lower. Next step is exhaust and I am thinking of running cutouts to lake pipes with an exhaust system with mufflers hidden underneath. Let me know what you think.

Looks good. At least one Canadian will be at the starting line mine went back in the box (I am stumped and don't know what to do) and I will probably bring it out in a couple of days and see if I can figure something out. Good luck to everyone hopefully I can see you all at the starting line.

I haven't thought about using modern wheels as it's just not something I am a big fan of. I also only have 3 pairs of modern wheels in my collection. But just for fun here are some mockup pics with all 3. and the blue car is my inspiration for the build I will just put my own spin on it without the crazy paint. If anyone has any info on it that would be great as I want to know what the suspension looks like thanks.

Espo I was thinking of doing the interior white and black. The outside will be black and I recently got a mlowtow chrome pen so everything that would be chrome will be chrome.

Very cool I will be watching this one. Are you going to put an engine in it or make it a curb side model?
