  2. Found some internt links — a good article fr Simaniti Says blog - there is zero chance that you’ll find a kit - but that’s never stopped you before … Rev’s might have research on this car …
  3. 2 reseviors for the brakes - front and rear - and one on the left side for the clutch - and the steering rack - brass 16th in thin wall tube - using a .030 Evergreen rod for the tie rod - will give me some flex and allow posable front wheels without having to make tiny joints on eitherr side of the rack …
  4. Wish i had A4 on speed dial …. Think he did the Heller because he didn’t believe that the Revell body would survive the removal of the doors …. he did open the Heller body louvers - love that build … just sayin …
  5. thanks Maxx for this post we need to re-watch A4's build - i think he took the trouble to open the louvers ... and another thought on the eng department - look how flat the finish is on the plug wires - just sayin ...

  7. The domed bolts that secure the head appear chromed - and they are a bit shinier than the cam covers -
  8. This picture is good for color - the exhaust headers are black - appear to be enameled ? - and the contrasting cam covers are polished alu … i think - dont think you would have anything chromed on the engine …
  9. The cast details on the kit firewall are not so great - remove them and make all the stuff that you see here - throttle linkage in brass and nickel will look much much better …
  10. Alot of on line ink was spilled wh the kit was issued about the windshield lines - think the kit lines are fine …
  11. But spending some time under this bonnet leads me to think that the kit eng bay isnt quite as good as it could be …
  12. This is a very recent restoration - and I think - a good one - Revell did get the under bonnet structure correct -
