  7. Whilst cleaning the workbench- a huge undertaking - i found my stash of thin alu sheet - pie sheet - about .008 thick …. Glued to .012 Evergreen sheet - this stuff is in the misc sheet and rod package - this was measured and cut for the base/surface of the driving compartment …. Didnt want to paint this because the frame is battleship gray - or will be …

  11. Soldering - i’m about to teach myself how to lo-temp solder wh metal - try to source some very lo temp solder - i got mine fr the UK - and you should try to get a digital temp solder iron … i got a Meri kit somewhere above my w bench …

  13. Thus far - AMF - the Dodge Demon build is laying waste to this poor old Maser - gonna have to machine something - maybe the brake drums - just to keep up …. And save me some Evergreen - don’t use it ALL up … and note to any forum visitors who haven’t perused the Drag WIP threads recently - there is a really cool Dodge Demon under constrution there …
  14. Here’s where it goes - so the next problem is to locate it properly - by making the various and sundry arms and links that suspend it - will start with a mockup with the ground clearance - which happens to be included in the drawing - not quite 6 inches -
  15. Rear axle - its all Evergreen plastic - so it’s all glued together w Tamiya liquid glue …
  16. A question and a mystery - did you place spacers above the rear suspension assembly to treek the ride height ? - and it is strange that Tamiya didn’t make the E type considering the they produced the Mark II Sedan wIth a really good 6 cyl engine …. Very nice build …
