  3. The rear facing caps are drilled for tach line hardware … gotta re-visit the dash - there should be two tachs …
  4. Stuff made for the cyl head front and back - flanges made from Evergreen .015 strip and cam cover caps punched from some more strip - the flanges have simulated bolts made from .012 nickel rod - gotta decide whether to add sim bolts to the cam caps - or try some super all RB Motion hardware …. The lines are .020 nickel - think they are oil lines …
  5. Turning my attention to the eng right side …. .05 M Club bolts lining the exhaust manifold flange - many - too many …

Jim Stokes Restoration in the UK seems to be the go-to for your pre-war race car servicing and resto - and they have permitting me to post some photos fr their f book page - here’s an 8c block sans sump - glorious - hard to know how to paint my block to get this finish - sort of gun metal with some added ingredients …

  8. When i noticed these bolts on the Don Lee Special - at Amelia - the first thing i thought of was Drill Bit City …

Every so often you need a really small hole - Drill Bit City sells sets of micro drill bits as small as .0010 - they are brittle and prone to break at the worst possible time - think you should them w some lubricant - although i usually forget - and i only use these on plastic and resin - for the supercharger assembly i managed to drill .0011 holes into these three resin bolt heads - these are special bolts located on the housing that contains the spur gear that drives the impellors - cool - but you won’t notice them on the finished engine unless you are playing w an I phone ..

  11. The posts are made fr .50 plastic tube fr the old pack of mode railroad styrene tube and flanges made fr Evergreen strip - Evergreen does not make plastis tube small than .080 - does anyone have a ready source of smaller dia plastic tube ? Would come in handy ….
  12. They curl back behind the superchargers into posts welded onto the base of the case left and right - here …
  13. The tubes in between the superchargers are crank case breathers - where to they come from ?
  14. Once the rear eng mount was done i added .05 master Club bolts to the ridge between the crank case and the sump - the resin printed bolts are easy to trim to length with a Xacto - will have to do this to the right engine side …
  15. That manifold and supercharger cleaned up nicely …
