  2. Tail lights - modified the kit parts which are one peice white metal - using those for the housings and turning clear acrylic rod on the Sherline for the lights … when you machine clear rod you have to use slow speed - heat from the tool will deform the rod if you use the speeds normally used for metal …. 7. The postal sevice brought something cool yesterday …. lemansdecals.com makes the markings for 0010 at Spa - how great is that ? With these - i can trim and size the vertical number placard that was wired To the tail - but if you’re tempted to build the Spa winner - note you will need two decal sheets …. The numbers on the sheet are an unusual design - correct for .0010 - and you won’t find a matching number font - i was not looking forward to free-handing these … now i can prime the placard …
  8. Posts soldered to the lamps and lamp wire added … now ill make the brackets that support the lamps ..
  9. Pico - you're correct - the 340 MM appears to be based upon the earlier 250MM - with a Lampredo engine stuffed into it - and since I am getting the early Colombo 12 eng casted ... this is very do-able ever stop to think what Paypal is doing to our collective national debt ???
  10. Turns out that the 356 Abarth ran the 1964 Sebring 12 - entered as #44 - could i convince you to build it in the Sebring livery for The 64 Sebring group build ? I’ll even say …. Please … the Racingsportscars site that’s linked in the first page of the Sebring build thread has a picture - - -
  11. Nickel silver bar - left the tips on after parting - they will help me secure the lamps in a vice to mill holes for the lamp wire - and the attachment posts …
  12. The kit fog lamp is center mounted on the Lemans winner - my car has left and rights - so i turned two on the lathe - same diameter as the kit part - but deeper - bout 3.5 scale inches …
