  1. Looking mighty fine so far, and that's a great color!
  2. Thanks! Yes, the wheels and tires are from the kit, there's actually three different sets of each. Thanks!
  3. These body styles are sorely lacking from the model manufacturers!
  4. I have the 21 ft. Tag-A-Long Trailer that I haven't started yet. If anyone wants to see any pics of the parts layout, I can post them here.
  5. Great stuff upcoming! Thanks for the pics Tim!
  6. Very nice looking MG!
  7. Thanks everyone, much appreciated! Thanks Bill! The interior pics were really pretty easy, I just positioned the camera lens close to the window opening, adjusted the zoom to get it clear and took the pic. These new cameras with auto-focus really make things much easier than they used to be.
  8. Good looking Mustang!
  9. Looks good Snake!
  10. I'm all finished with my rendition of the Monogram 1978 Chevy El Camino. I painted it with a mixture of Chroma Molten Metals Copper and Folkart Black for the Copper, and I just used Stynylrez Black Primer for the Black. It's all cleared with Createx UVLS 4050 Gloss Clear that got wet-sanded, polished, and waxed for the final finish. I scratch built door handles and window cranks for the interior using pieces of strip styrene and a couple of slim discs cut from a toothpick. I also added heater hoses, spark plug wires, door locks, and valve stems for extra detail. I sprayed a couple of coats of Tamiya Smoke on the bumpers and wheels to knock the shine down a bit, and used Bare Metal Foil for the trim. Even with the extra parts for the 3 'n 1 options, it's still a fairly low parts count kit. There's not a lot of details and it's a fairly basic kit, but everything went together pretty well for a fun and relatively easy build that does look pretty good when finished. Thanks for looking!
  11. Nice looking Duster!
  12. Looks pretty good!
  13. Nice looking 442!
  14. Gold will be a great color with the stripes. I did mine in Tamiya TS-42 Light Gunmetal. I have a friend that is a Buick nut and has owned several 1:1's, although most were clones. HIs current one is painted in Synergy Green, while his son's is Metallic Blue. He's also painted a few others for friends including a Citrus Green, a Metallic Orange, and a Red one.
  15. Looking good so far Mike. I used Tamiya TS-87 Titanium Gold on my '67 Impala SS.
