Looks good in Gold, nice work! I found that Testors Enamels take forever to dry so I haven't used any since about 5 or 6 builds into my return to the hobby five years ago.

Thanks guys, much appreciated! I seriously considered taking some pics without that big wing, it sets right into the mounting holes and isn't glued on. Ken, Thanks a bunch for all the compliments! About the photography, I wish I had some secrets of the trade but I just adjust the zoom on my phone's camera and the distance from me to the subject until the whole subject looks clear and snap the pics, lol.

Here's my take on the Revell Chevy Corvette C7.R. The paint is a custom mix using Folkart Blue Topaz with a little Delta Ceramcoat Navy Metallic added in, while the lower portion was taped off and sprayed with Anita's Glossy Black. I cleared it with Createx UVLS 4050 Gloss Clear and wet-sanded with 8000 and 12,000 grit, polished with Novus #2, and finished it off with Meguiar's Cleaner Wax. I used the kit decals for the stripes, but didn't want to use the race livery decals as I was going for more of a 'Street Racer" look. This is more of a simplified kit with only 64 parts, so details like any kind of a suspension or drivetrain, save for the engine, are not there. Nevertheless, it fits together pretty well, was a really fun build, and will look pretty good on my shelf. Thanks for looking!
