  1. Love this setup! Such a cool subject and excellent execution!
  2. A friend of mine did the robocop kit and it made me want to build one as well. I'm liking the bright yellow you choose to do.
  3. I had a great trade with Tommy (om617).
  4. The John Deere Pontiac is molded in white. That and the Remington kit were produced about the time when Revellogram started using white for all the kits. Although, I do have a Todd Bodine Factory Stores TBird that is molded in blue.
  5. Here are the kits I have for trade. The 300C is started and I was just going to do a quick abd simple build so the doors and trunk have been glued shut. The 500SL has a coat of silver paint on the body. The 427 Camaro is missing 2 wheel backs. I bet I could round two up out of my parts bin by the time I pack it up to head up north. The 35th anniversary Camaro had barely been started (I think the shifter is glued into the center console is all) and is missing the climate control decal. The Hotwheels Camaro has a few chassis and body parts glued together and is missing the decals. All others are complete.
  6. what if Bruce Wayne was a truck guy?
  7. I will probably bring some kits to trade. I will get a picture of them up here as soon as I can to see if anyone is interested in them.
  8. A friend of mine and I picked up a few snap together kits to work on throughout the day so we should be easy to spot. We each only have one kit to enter into the show, my house remodel had the work bench shut down for way too long! Looking forward to meeting some people from here as well.
  9. One of my favorite movie cars. I dig Chevelles and it's name just has a certain ring to it. ;-) Your interior looks great, can't wait to see more progress.
  10. I'm planning on being there.
  11. The stripes are amazing! You gotta do the rear stripes too.I bet it's super tedious but the concentration and time I bet you put into them shows!
  12. I love the color, and the stance is perfect for that car! Very cool model.
  13. I just completed a trade with Paul Jurczyszyn "Slotcar12". Great member to work with.

    Ferrari 458

Nice work! I dig the color combo, and the extra details make that engine bay look really nice.
  15. I hadn't checked up on this in a while. WOW it is looking mean! Very cool work you're doing.
  16. Yes, there's a walk through door at the end of the paint/styrene/reference isle that goes to their "as is" area. If you take an immediate right after walking through that doorway you'll see a dutch door. If the track is open walk right in I imagine, if not there is a sign with track hours. I've never been there while it's open and I forget the hours but I always peek in, it looks fun!
  17. What a cool car! There's so much happening in those decals alone. Add to it all the details you're adding and this should be a very fun piece to look at when you're done. Good work, I'm excited to see more.
  18. I'll definately be following along on these builds. The F40 is my absolute favorite Supercar. I have the 1/12 Revell waiting in my stash so I'm excited to see how you go about it. I hear it's an interesting kit to build. As for the 1/32, I see them on ebay quite often if you're up for bidding.
  19. I'm hoping to be there. I have a couple builds I may be able to finish up in time. If not, it's always fun to check out all the cars on display.
  20. I would love a kit of a 98 and up S-Series GM with an extended cab.
  21. Managed to get her finished in time for the show! I rigged up two battery powered LEDs to light up the headlights. Gotta have bright red lights on the Grave Digger! A quick shot of it before heading to the Monster Jam. I have to tell a little story cause I was really surprised when I got to meet Dennis Anderson. I missed the first line to get his autograph before he took a break. I wandered around for a while checking out all the other trucks but a second line began to form right away so I hopped into it. Two long lines of people waiting to meet him. This guy was signing hundreds of autographs and I figured when I got to him I'd be able to give him the truck, he'd sign it, I'd get a picture with him, and I'd be shuffled along. When I got to him I handed my model across the table and he looked at it quick and said, "Oh that's cool." and we had a picture taken quick. After the pic I handed him my pen but he didn't take it right away. He was checking out the truck, looking at it from all sides saying, "Wow that's neat, you did a really good job." I was totally not expecting him to take that much interest in it and was honestly star struck for a while because of his compliments. Such a cool experience.
  22. Had some fun with the wheels. Totally winged it on painting the rim but luck was with me and they turned out great! Since they were nice deep wheels I taped them down and filled them to the rim with water. Shot a few coats of clear purple over the aluminum and kept my fingers crossed. When I pulled that paint film away and wasn't sure what to think, It wasn't the clean edge I hoped for. But after a light pass with some very fine sandpaper the rims looked perfect! Just have to give them a wash and they'll be ready for the big chunks of rubber! Got a good coat of clear on the body too. Hoping to wrap this one up soon. If I get it together solid in time I want to bring it with this weekend. There's a nice space on the roof that would be cool to have Dennis Anderson's autograph.
  23. that's what I used for mine and love it! very quiet and moves plenty of air.
