Your base is the most important part of your final color. In the HOK color chips they show the difference between bases. White, black , gold, or silver will all work with kandys....BUT the end color will be diff depending on your base. So get some spoons and shoot some tests....Note not all silvers and golds are the same.....I shot 4 diff silver bases till I got the end color I wanted. The paint your using is a thin pearl......color with some flakes....Mr O is right ...you do not want tiger stripes!!!

Got a MAC Harry.....I love my Vista!!...Tried mozilla, safari, chrome, explorer....and dang if they all work!!! when installing SP1 make sure your anti-virus is turned OFF......if not YOU WILL have problems. If you do a backup B4 adding any software it will make a big dif. with vista 2GB is the minimum I recommend 4GB if it will fit...

If all your roofs are white....then do it in black.....I know youve got doubts.....but down deep your soul screams BLACK if you want a neat touch use HOK black diamond for your base color over black lacquer then clear.....

Repeat after me....ITS ONLY PLASTIC....it is! A wiser modeler taught me that with a bottle of tenax and a bag of evergreen You can fix anything you've done !! so you are thinning future with alcohol??Whats with the wax? future is NOT wax...just clear acryllic in a bottle.

STOP...... MM thinner and lacquer thinner are 2 different food groups...What paint are you using? To airbrush the rule of thumb is thin the paint so its as thin as 2% milk.....USING ONE THINNER 20 lbs psi or more my paint is dry to touch in 20 min or less...after a few days its ready to sand and polish
