  2. Milt get a good sharp scapel and remove that paint or mask it off B4 painting. All of the glue shown has its place Try some "ultimate"...its water based dries slloooowwww..but stays flexible yet strong, dries clear..and wont harm paint! I got it a michaels...I prefer it to the tacky glue
  3. Tamiya is a great clear(TS13) 2 mist coats then 2 wet and your done. All that said...I prefer duplacolor in the large cans. At $5.99 I can cover 4 or 5 complete jobs, the Tamiya might cover 2. Duplacolor has a great window..put down 1 coat, wait for it to flash(2 or 3 min)then recoat......and keep on doing this till you have enough so you can polish out the peel. Tamiyas window is about 20 min between coats...In my airbrush TS13 is my choice over all others even HOK. Don't you just love opinions?????
  4. ........GAG?.........
  5. I DIDN'T GET IT WRONG THIS WEEK!!!!!!!!!!
  6. OFF TOPIC BUT....What a great idea fo a painting stand!!!!!
  7. With that color use white or a bright silver, this Z012has a grey primer with a dark silver base...I don't care for it as the pearl only POPS outside
  8. When is the May\June issue coming out?

  13. So if you do not like it IGNORE IT.......oh you can't.....you want a higher post count.......If you don't like the editor lets not see that he is bringing his son into the hobby..... As far as the new site....the price is right This is sorta like e-mailing FORD that you don't like the new corvette!!!!!
  14. " Trust me on this one. I have (in 1/1 scale) a 74 coupe, a 78 coupe, a 77 fastback, a 78 fastback T-top, a 77 Cobra II, and a 78 King Cobra sitting in my driveway..." I do trust you BUT....the long nose was only on the 1974.....go look and you will notice only the 1974 had the 5" nose 1975 on up it was 2".I ordered my 1:1 on 2/21/74 and picked it up on 4/3/74..my first new car! This build is based on the firefighter kit one of the most inaccurate kits ever done so bad that SMBC made a corrected version of this in resin sorry for going off topic

  17. Look Under Glass!!!
  18. Just a Quickie...........(for me!!!) OOB except for the motor and wheel\tire combo
  19. Michaels does not sell the 237....but do sell the one pictured above. White primer usually will take 3 to 5 mist coats to cover....brand is not all that critical for compleat coverage,HOK sells a white base#BC26s it is a spray bomb and covers better than most whites
