  1. If its a parts pack motor...household bleach(clorox) will dechrome in 10 min or so..DOT3 brake fluid is for strippin paint!

  5. Have you looked at Michaels?? Mine has a good stock of common 200 parts..tips,needles o rings teflon washers...
  6. I see ........not sure what happened.. But most of it is angles....not movement and some funky rotors(now fixed) Wait A Bit and the magic will be back!!!!!
  7. My honest reply is "I would have to think about when I would use the testors!!!I go thru 1/2 to a full bottle of tenax per month...By far my favorite.. When I chop a top or section a body I use my own goop...tenax and spru to weld the body together on the inside...takes a while to dry but then its all plastic!!
  8. 1 you are 100% correct about the wedge 2 so did I they were from the AMT '57 vette...repainted) The new are from Revells thunderbolt..(washed and dulled) 3 Right and Wrong rear axle was moved down and back the front is exactly the same...I did move the spindles down a bit as the headers were rubbing on the ground This pic shows the front radius rods...same place 4 No...this is a "Weekend Warrior" bracket car thanks for the input!

  11. Bad news is a broken rear bead sooooo wheel switcheroo.Also finished the sectioned interior tub. adjusted the rear and front suspensions due to wheel issues...

  13. use one of the white glues...Ultimate..Aileens Tacky ...these are strong enough WHEN DRY to hold things together I use them for motor parts like headers and intake(or blowers) and when dry are flexable not hard....also great for mocking up suspensions... Go check out my '34 pickup or '32 topless builds on this forum...held together with those two and tape!!!

  18. If you set it up correctly....it does work better than it did....I belong to 3 forums and they all are a pain at times.....
  19. My thought was its only $4.50 might as well make it into a car........and then I found some extra parts in it! So I may find another and use the chopped top, section it like this one, and channel it.....what a start for a rat project!!! UPDATE: 1 pc hood is a no go too much warpage ....Oh well I do have a spare '31 shell.........

STANCE IS EVERYTHING...Hey I knew that No wedge just that sweep of the '32....the "tonneau" is the roadster top for this kit...This is Boyds Chopped Donk '32.......One of the worst kits stock,but I got it for $4.50 so it is now a project.
