  1. I agree that something aint right I also think its the front. After mockup I plan on removing themetal axle and go to stubs. I'm gonna think somemore!!
  2. Well the Zona was a flying and now the front has a brand new Z!!!!! time to trim the firewall now we have a better idea.....
  3. I'm not sure where to go to go low I'm thinking a slider Z around the old rad mount/spring perch area and sliding the dropped axle up and forward not sure if that is gonna be the right height and WB might be closer to stock????? Oh well I still have the box to work on while I think.........
  4. Measure twice then cut 3 or4 times!!!!! Then hope it fits and you don't glue it to your fingers!! Lets take a peek!!!!!!!

I agree 100% about the fun factor my Zona was in the zone and just kept going and going....... and YES it is molded in white...just got it thru dennis at model express last week and when I checked lindbergs web site I found out about them molding in white!! and yes I can't wait for the '38 sedan delivery!!! current job is the rear end looking at stock but sits too far up and back....Raul... Pass the Zona!!!

  8. just picked up my first lindberg kit the '34 3in 1 pickup (its all Kennys fault) Its molded in WHITE !!!! great detail much better than the AMT that it came from!!! Now to get the '38 sedan deliv!!!!!!

  13. At Michaels... they also sell the" ultimate water based super glue" which I also use. It can be used as a contact cement also

  17. Get a flat hunk of 1/2" or 3/4" plate glass from your local glass shop....they can sand the edges, mount some 400 grit paper on it I use spray adhesive, slowly square up all parts.. I mock it up now with elmers glue.After the fit is what you want take it apart and THOROUGHLY WASH it before painting!!

  19. I've used shrink tubing over alum tube cut and bent for exhaust collectors.
  20. A great source is the "core" from the spark plug "boot" wire that comes in most aftermarket distributor kits like DM or SMBC! Did you try "dipping" it or just brushing?? A narrow rack made from spru sections
