Can't say about enamels as I detest that stuff. I shoot HOK, Tamiya, Duplacolor, and Model Master all lacquers. Rule of thumb is let it flash ,then slowly pull tape back over it self and it wont' tear...it is still soft at this point so make sure its mounted securely...why ruin that two tone now !Here's some examples:
Crisp Lines are the result of puting the tape on tightly on a clean smooth surface. I burnish all edges first, right before I lay down the color, and spray from the tape side all 2 or 3 color coats this keeps the edge down.
