  1. I've gotta see this sweetie up close.....I'll try to call this weekend...
  2. I normally use my Ungar utc200 adjustable micro iron with tix about 700 degrees..and of course proper cleaning, fluxing, tinning...and anti flux. I use an ancient micro torch for silver....but I spend more time heatsinking than anything else...and after years of using Tix..I don't use silver much anymore. I used to build brass flopper slot car chassis with silver for strength until I found Tix. Great work Randy...keep it coming
  3. I still havent seen any proof its a model............C'mon big guy.....
  4. I prefer Deputy Fife......a coppers cop.....
  5. I also want to know what heat sinks your using....I can only use a micro torch for silver..thats why I love my Tix
  6. Sectioning is one of the hardest to pull off.....looks dead on!! Well done!!
  7. Its gotta go thru an auction....what dealer would want to sell it???
  8. Sure does...lets get the "FN" address and show the non-christians what its all about One more folded Flag, one more grieving family, one more brother lost so that those who send our young men and women into harms way may sleep soundly and wake to remove yet one more freedom that those very soldiers defend your rights to. My flag will fly at half-staff for a fallen brother or sister, but never for a politician. My thoughts and heartt go to the family of Cpl. Turner. Godspeed, Cpl. Jonathan Turner. When you get to heaven, tell them as they have since before Guadalcanal, "Another Marine reporting, I've served my time in Hell". Semper-Fi! Carry on! As a 4S Protester in the 60s....I'm glad I did not have to serve....I have tremendous respect for all of our soldiers...different story for Robert MacNamara..killer of 1000's
  9. I love the comments...I'm gonna keep it up a while longer :D
  10. I know 200 + V Vets that ride American Thunder. We would love to piss on those a@@ holes and teach respect. Oh we can't? they have rights.......Clint said it best..."right turn Clyde" :D
  11. I am impressed....the work done without a resistance unit is top notch.....Randy next time at the supply store look into Tix solder, flux AND anti flux....works with a smidge less heat and is as strong as silver.....and the antiflux keeps things neater!!
  12. Then again....I do have a flatbed.....
  13. I think it looks fine.....but to move it...get the zona..a little slice in the rear behind the a arms...then add it in front.....Tenax and your zona....
  14. Semper Fi and Thank you! And we can ride free because of them....NEVER FORGET
  15. Try definitely
  16. I'm planning a small wrecker boom (modified lindburg 34 pu), but I'm gonna try some rust and crud on this one...so the boom is more for looks, rather than function
  17. OK...........heres "E" and F
  18. Got the cab all smoothed out...so I can rust it ??...at the last mockup I decided to drop the front of the cab to follow the frame and doorline better. Finished the fuel tank now I must decide to shorten the bed or not??? The stance is set, the front wheels will be inboard of where they sit now. I still have a bed floor to make, front and rear radius rods and linkages, but the tough stuff is mostly done
  19. Narrow the frame with styrene......or you gotta order a window stretcher......
  20. After working in a closet for years.......can you say JEALOUS???? :D
  21. I've been using the foam trick for years...Started out in HO RR...I used a 12 x12 x 1 " thick foam mat laid into an old mitre box...gives you a chanel to hold the work at the best angle..door handles, side mirrors....
  22. I'm rereading that one now...Its got Crankys Nova beater in it!!
  23. # 21....FFO!!! Great day for the Woods and Ford!!!
