  12. OH YEAH!!!!!!!!! Are you gonna run a 409 in it??
  13. Why remove it Tom? It acts as a primer for lacquers.
  14. Mike, you didn't miss much with these paints. The biggest downfall seems to be a lack of the proper reducer. There are a few that have had success with these paints. Unless you have a big stash of these, I wouldn't invest a lot of money in them..... The biggest rippoff was the inference that they were HOK paints.....they were not !... Old story here...I will not get upset, but the real House Of Kolors Paints are alive and well I get them from Coast Airbrush or the Black Gold Line from Slixx !! http://www.coastairb...ries.asp?cat=44 http://www.slixx.com/blackgoldpage.htm
  15. Beautiful job....well done!!!
  16. Hey Charlie! The best advice I can give is if you use white as a basecoat, all colors will be as bright as possible, But for a different shade of blue you can tint the white with the blue...will be deeper. Over Black, silver, or grey....3 different shades. So get out the spoons, spray 4 or 5 different bases and then the blue. I also hit them with a coat of clear then see what you want....there will be a difference!!
  17. Hey Andy....Welcome To our nuthouse! The '34 is way kool and is a great kit to mess with...I did the same thing a few years back....went with Big Wheels But I do love your visor...gotta do it on the next one!!
  18. Thanks again Art...lots of good info

  21. '55 f100......Rebuild as tow vehicle, needed to tow trailer for hauling rods and race cars. 427 SOCH, remove running boards, chop top, channel to lower around 19 and 23 Pegasus CL s, welded and reversed tailgate , wooden bed. This is what is getting a face lift:
  22. I don't know.....looks pretty small to jiggle
  23. The Auto Air 1:1 auto paints will work.....but DO NOT....unless you want to relearn everything you know about painting. 1. 50psi min....and higher. 2. Heat Gun or Lamps to "flash" the paint and so on. I have the Auto Air DVD and it does look great in the end. I will stick to lacquers and my respirator  You also need to use urethane or lacquer clears.....so much for no VOCs........
  24. A real car??????
  25. Gotta agree with George!!!!!
