  1. Very cool!
  2. Double check your manuals, I may be wrong. As I have said there are folks here that use that one without problems for all sorts of paint.
  3. Hmm...........the '34 pick-up molds have finally come home.
  4. Great work but man, you gotta find a better place to photograph your models!
  5. I've known guys here that use them well, but be advised the instructions say "not recommended for flammable paints or solvents".
  6. I've wondered about this for a long while. Is it legal to cast and then sell parts molded from kit parts, manufactured by companies still in existence? I mean, its one thing to mold parts from some old kit where the company has been defunct for years, but another to mold parts from Revell, Monogram, AMT, MPC where they are the intellectual property of another company? I'm seeing this very frequently here lately, and was just curious.
  7. I think you did a good job. Look into some Bare Metal Foil for the trim and take your work to the next level. Also, spray paint everything you can. Bottle paints and brushed should be for detailing only.
  8. For me........................originality. That's pretty darn to accomplish in the world of automobiles, but I want folks to see my work and say, "Wow. That's different." If nothing else.
  9. Mine is the inspiration for one of my current builds. Split Personality by Mr. Gary Campesi.
  10. Roger that looks awesome! Check out Garys work, I think I posted his website, he does a lot of narrowed rods. Maik, you are in man! Keep it going it looks great.
  11. Looks fine, but some Bare Metal Foil would really help it out.
  12. I'd never heard of it. But, in retrospect, I was deployed for most of the mid-90's and not building at all.
  13. Brilliant! Thank you sir, you have made my day. I have a woody kit I was wondering how to chop.
  14. Blair if you don't start posting up more than one pic of your models we're gonna have to send over Vinny and Guido to explain it to ya's, see?
  15. With one exception, yes. I love '66 & '67 Chargers, I have built three to date and have two more kits. I have little interest in building anything else more than once.
  16. I think BMF sells decal paper sheets as well as foil.
  17. By all means let it completely dry and give some sand paper a try.
  18. Wow. That's some good stuff!
  19. It looks like it needs a serious dip in the purple pond. I have gotten a few kits from the attic from folks, but due to the crazy temps you get up there, there is always some warpage. I know its from a family member and all but the kit is readily available so restoring this might be more trouble than it is worth.
  20. I dig it!
