  1. You are welcome. That's why I do this.
  2. No, won't be doing that. I have a few interceptors in my stash too. thanks for the offer.
  3. I like it. It's about the cars, not the "guys". I'm in so far.
  4. Nice work especially the interior.
  5. Interesting. Never would have thought it to be something like that. Thanks!
  6. Good idea. Possibly the one from the 69 XL kit?
  7. This is the issue I have. It was sort of a grail for me as it's the same one I remember my Grandfather building with me and letting me "help". Growing up on Long Island I had a lot of Pyro and Aurora stuff in the early days.
  8. Long a grail of mine. I finally saved up enough lunch money to get one unbuilt. Was a little disappointed that the roof was slightly warped but not a show stopper, it will straighten out with careful gluing in of the glass. Here's what's in the box for anyone interested. Anyone know why the five wheels? Comments and discussion invited
  9. Outstanding! Thanks for taking the time to do this and share. Just looking at your pics answered a few questions I had. thanks again.
  10. Ummm, not sure what that has to do with this but OK. Thanks for the reply.
  11. That was an odd one out of a strange series. I think I know what was for lunch the day that was approved.! Wish I had one. I'd like to do a detailed review, just for historical purposes.
  12. The early AMT '29 had one too. Not sure if it's in any later issues.
  13. Indeed. Still a very illusive grail of mine.
  14. Looks like B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A's would be a popular choice along with Goodyear Radial Eagles. I seem to remember MPC including Radial T/As in there kits years ago.
  15. That's it! I knew I'd seen them in a pick up kit. I had a few of the F150 kits years ago. Thanks for that confirmation and memory jog. Truck tires in a Trans Am kit? I'll reiterate my slight disappointment with this choice.
  16. I'd suggest the Pro Stock v. Pro Stock option because those two kits are still around and somewhat reasonable but I'm also intrigued by the stock option as I don't think I've ever seen the stock versions of those. Your choice! Thanks.
  17. Awesome! Thank you!
  18. Here's a shot of the tires in the kit. Hollow Good Year 9.25-10.00-15. They look like light truck tires to me.
  19. I would be interested! I've had both kits but never at the same time. A side by side comparo would be informative for sure.
  20. I dunno, they look pretty good chromed and with the center caps. Might look just right on one of these Birds wrapped the in the thin WW 'stones. Just my opinion. Yours might and probably will differ.
  21. And loaded with high fructose corn syrup as a sweetener.
  22. I work with a guy who's son is a budding gear head...I GIVE them to him.
  23. Excellent work and detail!
