  1. Yep, That and the chassis plate are in good shape, I keep it all in that condition though as a kind of historical modeling "folk art" piece.
  2. Not the only one looking to cash in on the "be the first on....." http://www.ebay.com/itm/Revell-83-Hurst-Oldsmobile-Cutlass-1-25-Model-Kit-2016-Release-id-85-4317/131792234475?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D36499%26meid%3D639525e438fa45d6aed08ce0a1fe0936%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D121964067819
  3. It's an old mold, they're usually like that. I keep a pack of new #11's around for just such situations.
  4. Nice one Bob! Looking forward to seeing it done. I know you'll do it justice. Still one of my grails.
  5. Indeed their departure from the hobby will leave a void. Won't affect me too much as I mostly make mine into customs. The small trim parts and stock hub caps and such aren't that important to me so Don and Carol's well deserved retirement won't be a show stopper here. A few I have staged in the "to do" area of the shop
  6. Agreed. That's why I look for original old build ups preferably unpainted so at least I have an idea of what I'm getting into. The biggest issue is usually skirt rash and I have spliced in new rear quarters before. I enjoy the challenge.
  7. Again, to me the best part of this hobby. My latest, in order. Save one!
  8. Good catch. Looks like it could be one of the early street version.
  9. Looks a lot better than the chopped version to me. Thanks. Lots of possibilities.
  10. WOW! Beautiful work there. Great looking conversion. Well done.
  11. Looks like there was yellow one and a white colored one too. I've never seen a red one. The hunt is on!
  12. The original issue also had the green tinted "glass", the mag wheels and the custom exhaust pipes. Not sure if that was in any of the others.
  13. For me airbrush only for painting bodies and Alclad. Spray cans for everything else.
  14. Another museum worthy masterpiece. Well done!
  15. Any chance this could be vintage slot car body? Those two screw posts got me thinkin'.
  16. Very nice Ford builds. The 59 still had two tail lights per side and the 60 had three. 59 60
  17. Sharp. I had an 03 Sport. I loved it, wife hated it,,,,,,,don't have it anymore.
  18. Thanks! I've already done the Merc.... ...and the Lincoln waits it's turn
  19. Sharp! To me the A12 Plymouth and Dodge are the ultimate muscle Mopar! To echo the above good choice using the JoHan body...it's the best out there IMHO.
