  1. That's right! I forgot about that one. Wish I got one too. Thanks for the reminder.
  2. Great thread, I had no idea there were so many of these. This one, while not a direct tie in it's not too much of a stretch to connect the dots. The Chrysler Turbine Car in the 1964 move "the Lively Set". I think I remember someone (Cady?) making a decal sheet for it.
  3. I don't have any TV kits to add but just FYI the chassis in the H&M kit above has the the chassis and drive gear from this kit.
  4. Yep. I had a little trouble with that one too. I was about 10 at the time. I have a mint unbuilt original on the shelf to try it again at some point.
  5. Wow! Perfect parts integration, layout and stance, Nice job.
  6. I like this one a lot. Great idea and execution. Well done!
  7. Same here with that one. Also these two come to my traumatized mind quickly I had them all when they were new releases in the 60's. Never finished them. Still have a few parts.
  8. Thanks for that excellent tip. I was trying to figure out a way to paint the molded kit part with little success. I'll check that out on my next trip over there.
  9. Yes I agree that Deerfield is a little dark but it does look rich. I'm planning on doing my 'vert in something similar to Killarney Green but it will probably be a mild custom anyway I'll be watching your progress with great interest.
  10. Looking forward to this one!
  11. Same here, Destin, FL. I picked up a AMT Blue Streak Slicks pack for about 6 bucks. They had two, guess I should have grabbed them both.
  12. '55 Chevy? Maybe not but a '55 Pontiac Starchief or a '55 Olds Super 88 might be cool. A '55 Ford Tudor even. Personally I'd pass on the Bricklin and DMC but I get where some would dig them.
  13. Good points. Fortunately for me I stopped trying to justify my kit purchases/addiction long ago. I've been buying kits for parts for years. Looks like I'll be able to use some of the left over stock parts from the sedan to build a F Bird like this. Been wanting to do one of these for some time too. And so it goes.
  14. No problem James. I was just wondering how long I have to finish other projects before I'll be able to start one something like this I'm assuming the gasser parts will be a direct swap in to the sedan kit.
  15. Excellent. Thanks.
  16. Very nice work! Back in that day the roads of my town were full of those in various trim levels and colors. Even the police cars.
  17. Anyone know if the 57 wagon gasser is still a go?
  18. I've seen worse. I do like a few elements of the styling, others not so much.
