I just picked this up on a 40% off coupon. I was more curious about it that anything else because I've never seen or had one of these kits before. I'm not a big MOPAR guy. Looks like a good kit, should build up into a sharp replica with a little work. Here's what's in the box for anyone interested.
Well they were called hubcaps as far as I know throughout the 50's. 60's and well into the 70's. Not exactly sure when the "wheel cover" thing started but to me both terms are correct...depending on perspective.
I got inspired by the 63 Z06 "Mystery Motor" Sting Ray that was featured in my latest copy of Hot Rod Magazine then realized I didn't have a "split window" in my stash. Picked one up today...here's what's in the box for anyone interested.
Big block with induction and valve cover options
Fuel injected small block
Nice chrome five spokes
Extremely disappointed with these old hollow Good Year whatever they are.
I like in the fact that the show is about the cars. Jay is a real car guy. I've baled out of most of the "car" shows because of the fake drama and other diversions. I'll continue to watch.
Another old favorite back again. I like this kit...a lot. Picked it up today with a 40% off coupon.
If interested here's what's in that cool vintage art box.
Absolutely, None other than the genius of one Junior Johnson, the then driver who discovered drafting. This is the famous or infamous "Banana Ford". An interesting study on rules "interpretation".
Real hard to see but it looks to me that the Hardtop and post sedan have two different roof lines, with the sedan having more of a curve in it above the side windows. That's why to me the Interceptor kit's roof looks too flat.
